Target Scent for Scent Adventures
Our scentwork challenge for the month kicks off tomorrow! Make sure you have your target scent ready. Don’t worry if you haven’t had a chance to go shopping. Both chamomile or decaf green tea bags work well to get your started ☺️ What scent have you chosen? Let us know in comments

Think I've got some catnip somewhere but if not we will go with tea.
Day 80- lets mix it up a bit 😍
We made it to a nice round number so I have decided to rebrand the group a little and go back to scentwork focus. Most of you hop in this group because you want to lean scentwork, so this should make my posts more relevant to that. I am stepping back from daily count and will share my scent journey with the pup and my senior in a more relaxed format. This way everyone joining at any stage can join in and play along. You can absolutely still post daily training and I looove seeing what everyone are up to. @Sally Argo I still need puppy/teenager support along the way and love following your journey ❤️ It’s been so much fun, let’s take it up a notch now 🙌

I tend to get more involved in scentwork when our days are shorter so with summer turning to autumn this could still be good for us. I will keep you posted. We are firmly in the teenage stage now, he's not been too extra yet but I think our nemesis is going to be his interest in being best friends other dogs whether they like it or not 🙈

@Ave Paasuke I do almost everything outdoors because my place is tiny. I get drawn to scentwork when the days get shorter and in winter because we get a bit more restricted about where we can go. It's nice to have an activity to tire everyone out without having to take in much distance. Ignoring other dogs is my dream scenario 🤣
Day 70 - Lyon
Memory retrieves and long stays (not that long yet) and a decent walk. He's been getting plenty bits and pieces but I felt like we both needed a proper wander and it definitely helped, he was noticeably calmer in the evening.
Day 68 & 69 - Lyon
Minimal training - retrieves on our walks, quite happy with how the memory retrieves are progressing. He could do with being a bit steady generally, he runs in at least once each session. House/dog sitting just now, lots of management to make sure he isn't annoying the older dog. I'm walking them seperately so time is at a premium.

@Ave Paasuke I'm half way through and Lyons toilet training is holding up, we've only had one accident, I was a bit worried about that. The resident dog is finding him too boisterous and Lyon isn't picking up on his subtle hints to leave him alone. His best behaviour setting has not fully installed yet 😅
Day 77- school holidays 🤣
So we didn’t train again yesterday! 🙈 I was so busy at work I had no brain power left and I really didn’t feel like conditioning. Took the dogs to the river instead and threw stick for them to retrieve (they are never allowed sticks so it was a treat 😄) Really need to get back into conditioning today or we’ll be in trouble.

I'll be interested to hear if you notice any difference in them after a day off. It is supposed to do them good.
