Part-time job while searching for a full-time job
Anyone who worked in part-time while searching for a full-time job or while studying master's share your experiences here! Pros and cons focusing mainly on moving to next level would be so helpful. And about me : I'm planning to move to Deutschland by June, 2026 and want to find ways to make my stay less stressful in monetary terms! Please share your inputs! Thanks in advance!

Hi Arul, Iโ€™d like to share my personal experience as well.๐Ÿ˜Š Doing a part time job is okay and very common, especially while studying or searching for a full-time role. However, from my experience, working part time every single day can be stressful and sometimes counterproductive. I feel 1โ€“2 days per week is more balanced, especially if you have clear long-term goals. When I worked too many hours, now (after Ameenur said ) I realized I was not only losing time, but also losing focus on my main target. Sometimes you donโ€™t notice it immediately, but slowly your priorities shift. That said, part-time work doesnโ€™t mean you stop developing yourself. While working, I listened to German podcasts and learning content, and with hard effort I was able to pass the German B1 level also. So it is possible to combine work and self improvement. But, My honest recommendation is stay focused on your main goal. Part time work should support your journey, not distract you from it. I think If you run only to catch coins every day, one day you may miss the pounds.๐Ÿซ  This is what I learned from my own experience. And now Iโ€™ve adjusted my schedule only 02 days doing part time now and feel much more aligned with my goals. Hope this helps, and wish you all the best!โ˜บ๏ธ

Thank you so much for your guidance today. I have always applied for jobs through mainly LinkedIn , but you showed me a completely different approach and techniques, especially for the German job market. Your explanation on how to customize my resume according to the JD was very helpful. I will now apply for jobs using this new approach. I really appreciate your time and support. Thank you again!๐Ÿ˜Š
