I got a song made; need/want feedback
Hey all, it's been a while since I have posted or mentioned anything in this community. I've been going through some changes on a personal level that have been challenging (to say the least). Anyway, I have made a track recently that I have been sitting on and I have been nervous to share with everyone. If anyone can give me some feedback that would be much appreciated. Hey man welcome. Like yourself I'm into music and art as well. But I'm also a fan of writing and literature. Coffee I enjoy as much as the next person, though I'll be honest the coffee can be very lack luster. But I'm curious to know what books you enjoy. As Chuck Jones and Werner Herzog would advocate for reading anything that comes your way. So with that in mind: do you have a favorite book? If you don't have one thats fine, I understand that it's a tough question. So far mine is Siddhartha by Herman Hesse, though Soldier of the mist by Gene Wolfe is a contender.

@Ahmed Raza oh no way i love murakami. I need to finish Kafka on the shore, that's the next book on my list. If you haven't read it I highly recommend the strange library. It's a short book, but if you like David lynch than I think you'll dig it.

I don't know if I am. I'm sort of in this space where I'm uncertain of what my purpose is. Though, that might be the resistance talking. Right now it feels like a lot of the things that I had ever wanted for myself, is within arms reach. But I feel uneasy about it because I am not used to having to see it become a reality (if that makes sense), and so clear and easy if I might add. So I'm in this state of limbo where I feel neither comfortable or uncomfortable with the notion that I can get everything that I want.

@Lex Christopherson I'm not sure. I'm still figuring it out. There's a saying that we create our own purposes in life. So while I don't know entirely what my purpose is. I feel like that a step to figuring that out, is the simple act of taking advantage of the here and now. Don't question the change. Simply embrace it.

After the last 3 months of exploring a “all stock Ableton everything” fetish, I’ve just reinstalled a bunch of my plugins and have been having a blast making music like a mad scientist/kid in a candy store. I’m curious… what are YOU working on?

@Yúlany Music me too. Though I would like to record it but I don't have a mic setup in which I can get the frequencies from either of the drums. I could try my laptop speakers but I don't think that itll pick up the bass frequencies all that well. And that's about 50 to 90% of the sound.

Anyone else into modular/semi-modular?
Hey fine folks of the Taches community. I've been frantic busy with some "life" stuff outside music lately, but decided to treat myself to my first piece of proper music hardware and picked up the behringer edge super cheap on a sale. I'm really enjoying the "dog a computer" phase of experimentation where I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing and just twiddling knobs and making patches until I find something I like the sound of. Played the core of this out live into bitwig then added some drums and a few fx, very very quick n dirty mix and master and here it is. https://soundcloud.com/screamish/edge-fragment-1
