We stayed home with the kids and chose, very consciously, to be together. A few years ago my partner brought a South American tradition from Suriname into our lives: Sacred washings. The house cleaned down to the very last corner and intensively smudged for several hours. Dancing, good food, and slowing down✨ We reflected together with the children, spoke about the year that passed, and blessed each other with sincere wishes. In that space, I deeply felt and understood how much my capacity has grown , how much more space I can hold with love and calm for my children❤️ There was so much presence, love, and quiet happiness. And we can already feel a shift in our energy, our way of being, and how we see what’s ahead. Happy new year ⭐️
