I built a tool to keep every video Nate drops searchable forever (not a replacement for watching)
Hey community, I've been lurking and commenting here a while, and one thing I kept hitting: Nate and this community share so many great videos that the gold gets buried. I'd remember "someone posted a great n8n agent walkthrough" and never find it again because search on Skool is still keyword limited. Secondly, many threads around Youtube Content Extraction Workflows, hence I built something for myself and figured I'd share it. It watches channels, turns each video into a searchable summary with timestamps, context awareness and keeps everything so you can search across all of it later ("who covered RAG agents, and when?"). It's not meant to replace watching Nate's stuff so it's for retaining it and jumping back to the exact part months later. Just want feedback on whether it's useful for how you all consume this stuff. Happy to share it, if you're interested. P.S: Not trying to sell anything here

@Nastasja Terry It's good to know that you had a similar idea in mind. Have you built such a workflow yourself and are you actively using it right now?

@Nastasja Terry All good. If you're interested, I can DM you a working solution for this. It might be helpful for your use-case.
What’s everyone’s thoughts on certifications?
Hello! Until recently I haven’t really considered the need for certifications, but as this market matures it seems they will play a more important role in giving us authority moving forward. This is highlighted by Devin Kearns keynote yesterday at AIS Live. I am very excited to hear more about the AIS certification, but I’m curious what other certifications (paid or free) people think are valuable.

I won't discourage it but in my experience, showing something that you've built far exceeds a certification. If people can see something live that you built, that proves your understanding, ability to build something. Certification just proves knowledge. I did my AWS Developer Certification almost 10 years ago and tbh, I've learnt more about AWS while working with it, facing problems and fixing them than I did with that certification.
YouTube Channel Analysis Workflow
Just built a handy workflow that automates YouTube channel research. Here's what it does: 📹 Core Features: - Extracts video data from any YouTube channel - Pulls video transcripts and basic info - Uses OpenAI to create clean summaries - Automatically saves results to Gmail drafts 🛠️ Why This is Useful: Perfect for content creators who want to analyze competitors, researchers studying video trends, or anyone who needs to quickly review a channel's content strategy. The workflow is pretty straightforward but saves a ton of manual work. Instead of clicking through dozens of videos, you get organized summaries in minutes. Sharing the source code below for anyone interested in building something similar or adapting it for their own use case. You need to modify the corresponding apify key and your own openai and gmail account information. What kind of YouTube analysis do you find most valuable? Always curious to hear how others approach content research.

Allen that's quite impressive. I'm wondering if you tried Gemini recently since it has deep integration with Youtube and allows pasting Youtube URLs directly in the prompt to extract structured output. Since the newer models are multi-modal, they can actually produce significantly better output by using transcripts and also producing a high quality language aware content. Especially for videos where user demonstrates some image/presentation, it can provide context for that as well.

@Guney Topcu You provided quite interesting insights from the perspective of creators. I created a tool for the similar reason you mentioned for content creators in my circle to understand their niche better and gauge insights into what could is covered and what has a potential to be covered for their own videos. If you'd be interested, I'd love to give you a sneak peek into it.
YouTube analyzer
I'm looking for a skill or a sub-agent that analyzes YouTube videos, transcripts, and content to gather information. I feel like Nate has mentioned it once or twice in one of his videos but I can't seem to find a skill or sub-agent anywhere listed. Any help would be appreciated, or any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

If you want a reactive approach, then you can do so with a simple skill or better just use Gemini since it has deep integration with Youtube. If you want a more proactive approach where your agent can see all uploads and run a workflow on it, then I built something exactly similar for this case to solve my own problem and a couple of other creators in my circle. Would be happy to share more insights, if interested.
