Newly Certified CISSP Today!
I am happy to announce that I passed the exam today. It was a long journey for about a year, I failed my 1st attempt in Oct. Joining this group last December was the tool and environment that helped me cross the finish line. This exam takes dedication and persistence. You only fail if you give up and a successful test is just a few mouse clicks away. Reading is not easy for me but regularly attending the online group to practice and discuss the materials helped me immensely. Keep up the effort and don't give up. YOU GOT THIS! 👍

For those that are interested... My approach to the exam was, but not limited the following: From Jan to mid Feb I did practice questions and deep dive into areas where I answered the questions wrong. Several timed 120 question exams trying to complete each questions on average of 72 seconds each. Regularly attended the Skool class meetings for more questions and discussions that provided opportunities to explain topics verbally. Two weeks before the exam I used Destination Certification Mind maps (@ 1.5 speed) that I previously took detailed notes on. For both weekends prior to the exam I got away from the studies and did some recreational physical activities. A complete 24 hour break from studies the day before the exam. The night before the exam I ate a high protein meal with veggies. Just before I went into the exam, and during my preparation I prayed for mental help and guidance. During the exam I took my time on the 1st 30 questions. I wanted to make sure I set a good foundation. I stopped for a quick water break after my 50th question. If I sensed the questions were easier I slowed down, as questions got harder I used that as a sign of doing well. I had close to an hour left at 100. As it continued I told myself as long as I have guestions I still have a chance at 150 it ended with about a minute left. The rest is obvious. I hope this helps others. Ryan

I attended this yesterday and was nice to speak with so many vendors and keynote speakers that gave me lots of notes to digest. Great day and even walked away with free Ray Ban Meta glasses.
