PBIX to PBIP/PBIR Production
Hi Folks, As PBIP/PBIR are still in preview and not GA yet, wondering how many folk in the wild :-) have made the switch from PBIX to PBIP for enterprise production semantic models/reports? Are they any gotchas or concerns? Or is the general consensus that even though still in preview they are production ready?

Fabric Naming Conventions
Not sure what others do about naming artifacts in Fabric / Azure / Entra but I found this great article about naming artifacts in Fabric. I do think having a naming convention helps immensely to keep everything organised especially all the different artifacts that can be created in Fabric. https://www.advancinganalytics.co.uk/blog/2023/8/16/whats-in-a-name-naming-your-fabric-artifacts

@Antony Catella - sorry know this is an old thread but did you adopt something similar in your org?
Fabric deployments
Hi all!! Thx for letting me join!! The data world is new to me so would appreciate any thoughts on scenario below.. Having recently moved our powerbi workspaces to fabric we are looking at options for deployments. Reading MS link here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/cicd/manage-deployment There are a few options, option 1/2 would be great however we are still using PBIX and dataflow gen1 so not sure much benefit in using full devops for deployments yet, option 3 which is using fabric pipelines feels like a good middle ground until we move to pbip and dataflow gen2. Even using git for version control while in pbix does not provide too much benefit but does give us some level of version control on the file level. Wonder how are others managing this and if using fabric pipeline how do you roll back a broken change?

Just to add, is it a common pattern for people to use sharepoint checkin/checkout as a form of version control for powerbi? Obviously can’t do that with dataflows though.

@Sambhav R thanks for info, have you tried to export data flow Gen1 to json to put in GIT for source control before?
