Saturated Market
Is anyone in here working in an over saturated market for forestry mulching? Our company has a high flow skid steer now and we hire forestry mulchers to clear the land we buy to resell. The market here in Knoxville TN is pretty saturated. Trying to decided if we should make the investment in a mulcher and add it to what we do now. It looks like most of the guys here don’t really have a good marketing strategy. Any thoughts? Any opinion is appreciated.

Lesson Learned
I might be the only ding bat that didn't know this. But when running facebook ads make sure you check the actually lead center inside your Meta Business Page. Leads where getting routed through my messenger and that is where I assumed they were going. Someone would fill out the form my messenger would pop up with the lead and information. WRONG. Igo to my lead tab this morning and there were 6 leads sitting there that I did not get notification. My ads only showed 7 leads total but inside my actual lead center there were 13 leads. So just a heads up for some other.

From “Where Do I Get Leads?” To $21,500 In Work In 30 Days
About a month ago, Jeff and his wife were golfing and he asked me a simple question: “Where the heck do I get these leads?” At that point, his land clearing business wasn’t doing much. No consistent revenue. No real lead engine. Just a guy with a machine who wanted to work. He joined Accelerator and starting showing up to the OPS Training calls on Saturday monrings He launched one simple Facebook ad, and started following the playbook. Here’s what’s happened in less than 30 days after joining: Current revenue booked: $21,500 Cash collected so far: $10,450 Backlog value: $13,500 New leads: 6 Quotes / site visits done: 6 Jobs sold: 4 (75% close rate) None of this is magic. Here’s what actually changed. He filmed the before/after Facebook ad and launched it. Not a cinematic masterpiece. Just a clear “before,” a clean “after,” and a simple offer for land clearing. He called every lead fast. 6 leads came in. He called all 6. No “I’ll call them tomorrow.” No letting them sit over the weekend. He booked fast site visits. 6 leads → 6 site visits on the calendar. He controlled what he could control: calls and appointments. You don’t need perfect sales training to win when you stack the basics like this. You need: A proven ad that actually gets land clearing leads. A rule for yourself: call leads fast and book the visit. A habit of showing up looking like the person who should get paid. Jeff did that for one month and turned “where do I get leads?” into $21,500 in work and a $13,500 backlog going into the busiest part of the season.
