positions>moves
I have been thinking alot and I would say one of the most important ways to think when we are doing standup is getting to our positions. so first of course you need to figure out what positions you like than mastering them. example for you guys is underhook position, or inside control ties. I need to master these positions, learn why what you are supposed to accomplish in each position and than learn a variety of attacks that all combo off each other. And whoever can get to their positions more they tend to win. period. So remember find our what positions you guys are best in and get there!

I may have asked this already, but what are your thoughts on Eco/CLA training?

@Andreus Bond I think the answer lies in the middle, you need the basics but after awhile the games are superior

@Andreus Bond I have a few, but the one I use the most is the DAAN brand, if I were to buy another one it would probably be the Smarty 2.0.
deeper why
so I think we all have a deeper why for why we train. wether its to lose weight, have the ability to beat someone up haha. But we all have one and I believe it also helps you be more consistent with your training so my question is what is yalls deeper why?

To be superhuman, anyone can lift, jog, walk, but can they fight? With that brings confidence, plus the feeling I get on the mats and don’t get anywhere else.
recovery question??!
how do you guys like to recover from jiujitsu?? I know some of y'all are old in here🤣(not a diss) but how do y'all like to recover from jiujitsu?? I personally like epsom salt baths but thats just cause I can do it at home. I also like tiger balm(I'm asian). but I'm curious how y'all do it, plus it can help people in the community!

@Andreus Bond in the beginning, not as much now, but I’m not moving up as much as some people.

@Andreus Bond absolute game changers, if you need a cheap place to get them, let me know, I get them directly from China. Really cheap and 99% pure.
Penn state!!
Who seen that Penn state and iowa dual last night?? If you guys didn’t just look it up on YouTube it’s there. I can’t believe how good Penn state is wow!

I used to go to Lock Haven Universities summer wrestling camp back in the early 90’s, now Penn State is king of the mat out there.

Actually one year I was gonna go to Fox Catchers, then my dad found out what a weirdo DuPont was, this was before he killed Schultz.
