positions>moves
I have been thinking alot and I would say one of the most important ways to think when we are doing standup is getting to our positions. so first of course you need to figure out what positions you like than mastering them. example for you guys is underhook position, or inside control ties. I need to master these positions, learn why what you are supposed to accomplish in each position and than learn a variety of attacks that all combo off each other. And whoever can get to their positions more they tend to win. period. So remember find our what positions you guys are best in and get there!

@Ryan Labuda so I like them I just don't think for beginners they are great because a beginner doesnt know the basics or how to do anything lol. if its a group of blue belts and up I like them but for beginners its hard to teach class with just cla games because they don't know enough.
sick!!
I am currently battling sickness lol so no training. I am building out a whole course for you guys on here tho!! I was wondering when you guys can't train?? watch film?? go lift??

Welcome to Takedown U — Introduce Yourself
Drop an intro so we can all get to know you. Answer these 5 questions: 1. What’s your name + where do you train? 2. How long have you been doing jiu-jitsu? 3. How confident do you feel with takedowns right now (1–10)? 4. What’s the biggest thing you struggle with on the feet?(stance, shots, getting sprawled on, fear of shooting, etc.) 5. What’s one takedown or skill you really want to learn? Optional:Post a training goal for the next 30 days.
