Session prep
For Rage Across New York, a Werewolf: the Apocalypse Chronicle, using Foundry VTT. Do you play online? What Virtual Tabletop do you use?

@Mikael Hellstrom would love if they made them more budget friendly though.

@Mikael Hellstrom nope. I would bounce between PS rpgs, ttrpg, and maintain school grades. though the need for details are great when there's a demand for them.
Adventures: Do you prefer writing your own or running adventures/stories from sourcebooks
As the question asks! Feel free to include some of your favourite campaigns! I love myself basically anything written by Free League, Arc Dream's Delta Green cases are also amazingly well written!

I'd say it's nicer to take an existing template then tweek it to the cast for that run of the campaign.
Getting the band together!
Role-playing is a collaborative activity! How do you get players to create characters that function well together as a group. I've played with a lot of groups where everyone has a very strong idea of what they want to play, even if that doesn't mesh well with the other player characters, some players just get that target fixated. I do tell my players that they should keep an open mind and revise their concept if it doesn't work well with the rest of the group, of course!

Collaborative party is more of a player barrier. Aside from gradually over sessions... it can start as early as session 0. Just another conversation that addresses some character experiences prior to the campaign itself.
The challenge of onboarding a player to an established group seemlessly
I'm sure at least some of you have been there. You have an established group, it has jelled, the session is tomorrow, you are short on time to bring the new player up to speed. If you're anything like autistic me, you WANT the story to feel organic, so motivations and plots line up smoothely, but this is also about having FUN together, so saying no to a player to join immediately might lose the player. How do you handle that onboarding?

In terms of onboarding, if someone gave a solid session 0 before their introduction. I don't see why it would be problematic. Between GM and player they should have that sorted out and inserted into the on going story shouldn't be an issue. Even the original party members have their grace period of banding together. It's just a mini version.
