Hello everyone
I am April,a 14 years old junior high school student. I am really glad to get to join this group to get wonderful advices, and get to know some many wonderful people. Hope everyone has a wonderful new year in 2026. To anyone who is reading this,I sincerely wish all the best things happen for you in ,whether is a opportunity,or a lesson to make be the best version of yourself. Remember we always have the capacity to change and improve, the freedom to redefine ourselves ,regardless of our past mistakes and traumas and move beyond it. We are the ones who define ourselves. people might not like you, might not respect you,or even misunderstand you. But in the end,we always have the ability and power to be ourselves, define ourselves ,improve and and revive ourselves, live in the happiest life on our own. from someone who hadexperienced a major depression and was negative all the time. I really wish you for the best. We can be the best version of ourselves,I trust you.No matter what.

It's nice meeting you April! It's wonderful how you are so encouraging despite what you've experienced. I've been in depressive states before so I know it can be very tough to be positive or encouraging...you're doing amazing!
Greetings
Hi girls, My name is Ruzeth and I'm from South Africa. I just finished a bachelor's in business in December so I'm elated to start doing more creative work this year. Since last year June, I've been working on the marketing strategy and social media content for an upcoming kids animation series. Although I truly enjoy branding and marketing work, my real passion is in front of the camera so I will be investing a lot more time into acting and singing practice this year. As part of that goal, I am going to create two short films and at least two short form social media series. Fun facts: I love studying different languages and human psychology & behavior, and I'm a former artistic gymnast. I look forward to connecting with all of you and working on my weight, body language, and eloquence goals here. 🦢

@April Shiao thanks April! It sounds like you're at the very beginning of your journey so I know you probably have a lot of ideas but it'd help if you could share what exactly you want to do? More specifically, what would you want to talk about/share and which platform (i.e. Youtube or Instagram/TikTok) and format (i.e. long form {yt vids} or short form {reels}) you have in mind? That would give me a better idea of how I could advise you. When it comes to books I'd recommend, here are some of my favorites: 1. Build a StoryBrand 2.0 (Donald Miller): this book does an awesome job of explaining marketing in its most basic form through great storytelling 2. Diary of a CEO (Steven Bartlett): all-round winner with excellent personal development, storytelling/marketing, personal philosophy, and team related advice. Literally, one of the best books I read in 2025 so do not underestimate the description I gave above. 3. Cashvertising (Drew Eric Whitman): foundational resource on consumer psychology making it a must-read if you're in the marketing/branding space 4. Emotion by Design (Greg Hoffman): THE best branding book you can read (in my opinion at least)...it's a comprehensive look at the lessons and insights Nike's former CEO accumulated. The only solid marketing and branding resource I can think of right now is Grace Andrews (Steven Bartlett's former Brand & Marketing Director). Check out her YT channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@graceandrewsss One interview Grace did that I keep coming back to is this video on Callum McDonnell's channel: https://youtu.be/44gUHzuLb78?si=N1A3KDVvln5CDfkE If I think of more, I'll come back to this comment and add them. What I would say for now is that sometimes books are more valuable than online resources (though Grace's interviews are truly worth the time...her vlogs are also valuable but you may need to sit through "vlog pieces" to extract the nuggets of wisdom she shares throughout her daily goings). Of course, you need to listen to what's the latest social media trends, etc. but I find that reading experts' books are often better uses of my time than listening to endless hours of podcast episodes. That said, it is a balance between researching offline and consuming online.
Nature's beauty
Hii girls, hope you are doing great 🩷 Just wanted to start the year with a lot of beauty and a reminder that being in nature is such a blessing and soooo healing. Here is a photo of today's sunset in Brazil, it's a beach called Riviera, hope you like it 🌅

Helloo everyone!
You can call me Lucky 🍀 I have a degree in Psychology, and I’m deeply interested in neuroscience, philosophy, and how all of these intersect with human behavior. I guess you can tell already…I’m a bit of a deep person. I’m not new to Skool, but I stepped away from my first community and decided to join this one after seeing Leyla’s post on TikTok. It felt aligned and like the right timing. I’ve been wanting to connect with women around the world, learn through shared experiences, and build a real sense of community. I’ve thought about creating my own someday, but for now, I’m here to learn by being part of one. I love reading, journaling (hoping to make this a daily habit by 2026), and I’m a big cinephile with high standards on films. Professionally, I’ve led and managed an internship program from the ground up for a US-based brand and now work in operations. I’m still early in my career too, so I’m here to both learn and share. If you ever need advice on internships or early career stuff, feel free to reach out! ☺️ By the end of 2026, my goal is to build real connections, friendships, and partnerships here; and to help create a space where everyone feels safe, heard, and supported. Grateful to be here and happy nye! 🤍🥂
