As you know I haven’t been hosting sip and spark in the mornings, I wanted to share a bit about why. To find a more peaceful path since returning from my trip to Costa Rica with my family I have kept the no phones in the morning. So no screens… I have been spending more time walking outside (until the snow storm that happened yesterday) Where yesterday I took a photo shoot in the snow! … but the part I want to share is I started a painting with my daughter. One that just calms me. We listen together and we colour. What calms you everyday? I’m also collaborating with someone to bring to the community. Stay tuned.

I said yes to my daughter. Stayed home from work. We went scootering Played with chalk, clay, watercolours and crystals Baked a cake What does your yes day look like? **Tomorrow at 9-10am PST there will be a workshop for community members on mindful neurographic art** Bring a canvas and some acrylic markers Or paper and markers :)

Shout out to all the mamas out there Ones who are showing up daily Ones who have shown us the way The ones who care for living beings of the earth To all caretakers. I celebrate and honour the divine feminine energy. This rock and some pink flowers reminds me That the most important thing in life is Someone’s attention, time and energy. I am so grateful for you. I had a phone call from my watercolour facilitator, He had a family emergency and I stepped in I didn’t have a plan, It was nerve wracking cause they were expecting An intro to watercolours course, So I just “winged it” I tossed all my old cards for inspiration And spoke about free play What a lesson to be learned, I feel as tho I could have prepared more But we had fun The sun came out Everyone made art It was good enough… Where can you give yourself little more grace?

When I started my YouTube channel, it was because I wanted to build confidence speaking to the camera and with my public speaking. My first 20 videos were cringe, I didn’t have a great camera or know anything about editing. Many, many videos and takes later, I have stuck with it. I spoke with Steve in MM Last December when they were growing their YT to increase their subscribers to 10k. I decided that I want to stick with it, and hit the next milestone, which was 300 subs. And…. Even though it didn’t happen in December. I did it!! Whaaaat?! So, as I turn 40 tomorrow, I give myself a pat on the back. I am finding my people online, building my community. And I can’t be anymore grateful. Thanks, everyone, for infusing the supportive vibe this mama needed to be bold. What are you proud of today, so we can celebrate together.
