Family first today!
I’ve got the chance to go and watch one of my kids play football this afternoon. First time I’ve seen him play this year, which feels slightly ridiculous now we’re into March. So I’m going to take that opportunity and move Coffee Hour. Let’s run it tomorrow instead. Quick vote: What works better for you? 8am or 2pm I’ll go with the majority. As always, no pressure. Even ten minutes is worthwhile if you can make it.

@Markus Cox I'm not being political but there are better AI solutions than chatGPT.

@Markus Cox there are far more qualifiedpeople on here to advise you but I understand the owner of chatGPT is a big financial supporter of Trump!
WhatsApp help
Hi all a couple of people have mentioned they don’t log onto Skool. It’s another thing they have to think about and I completely get that! So if you want to be reached by WhatsApp let me know and I’ll add you to the community board. It will be there as a reminder and will take you straight to posts on Skool that might interest you. For example … land deals, finance deals and get togethers.

Coffee Hour was a good one!
No agenda. Just a few people showing up and seeing where the conversation went. We managed to cover quite a bit of ground: Scottish cricket… if such a thing actually exists A few scar stories from property deals over the years Dodgy business partners Freehold purchases And a handful of other property rabbit holes Exactly the sort of conversation that tends to happen when people who have been around the industry for a while get together. Thanks to @Jamie Mckinnon @Martyn Pollock @Andy Dischamps @Russell Archer @Andy Everett for dropping by! These sessions are proving to be a really good way of getting to know the people behind the names in the group. If you’ve been meaning to join one, even popping in for ten minutes is worthwhile. You never quite know where the conversation might go.

Signing off for the week
Something interesting happened on Coffee Hour on Wednesday. @Markus Cox joined the call. I haven’t spoken to Markus for about five years, but he joined the group after receiving one of the emails and suddenly we were talking deals again. It made me think how many people sit on our mailing lists where we assume an email equals a conversation. Most of the time it doesn’t. It took a smaller room like this to recreate that connection. @Andy Everett also dropped in briefly. Unfortunately the Scottish countryside internet didn’t quite cooperate and he dropped off the call. But it was almost a very interesting moment. Markus and Andy, I suspect there is some real crossover in what you’re both doing. If you see this, I’d highly recommend the two of you connect. Moments like that are exactly why this group exists. The right people are often already in the room. They just haven’t met yet. That’s why these calls are worth turning up to when you can. Have a great weekend all. More in store for next week 💪

Hi @Adrian Cormican ,sorry I couldn't make the call yesterday. It would have been good to meet @Andy Everett although it sounds like it would have been brief!
