Did you end up doing something completely different?
I need your help for my next video! When moving abroad or starting out as a digital nomad, our original plans often change dramatically. I'm looking for your stories about major career or lifestyle pivots you've made since becoming a digital nomad. For example: - Did you come to Thailand planning to teach English but now run an ecommerce business? - Did you start as a freelance writer but pivot to becoming a YouTube creator? - Did you intend to stay for 6 months but have now been here for years? Please share your story in the comments! What was your original plan, and what are you doing now instead? I'll be featuring some of these stories in my upcoming video.

Left the AV industry to do high ticket online closing, company folded, started a community for the AV industry, it is hard, struggling to make it bang. Picked up a contract in my old industry and have others asking for my help also... long circle back to where I started in a way. Many thought doing remote was not possible, turns out it is.
Success leaves clues...
Successful digital nomads... What are some of the most important habits that you have formed over the years that you can say for certain have led directly to your success?

Make a habit of going to bed at a reasonable time. You tend to do things that help you in the morning and things that don't late at night. You know what I mean. 👀 Dress for work. Not a suit but get showered, shaved and in fresh clean clothes. Sounds dumb but these little habits help reinforce this is work time, lets get after it. This is not doom scrolling time. There is so many things, but if your starting out making sure you have the discipline to do the work when no one is watching, this is a super important foundation. I've seen people piss away time "I'm going to work on the logo for a bit, then go down to the beach". Then they wonder why it didnt work out. Until you have your income locked in you still need to work consistently, even if it is cheaper here it's still not free.
I'm bored...
I need your input on something important. For 6-7 years, I've been making videos about living in Thailand. But honestly? I'm bored. I've covered every topic I can think of, and I'm struggling to find fresh content. What really excites me now aligns more with what Nomad School is all about - discovering how digital nomads and expats actually make money. I'm fascinated by the diverse ways people earn income online, the hot skills in demand, and how folks transition from their home countries to become digital nomads. My plan is to pivot my YouTube channel in this direction. I want to do more interviews, share my own decade-long experience of working online, and dive deep into the world of remote work and online businesses. I'll still make the occasional Thailand video, but it won't be my primary focus anymore. I know this is a big change from my usual Thailand content, and that's why I want to hear from you. What do you think about this new direction? Do you find it interesting? Do you have concerns? Let me know your thoughts in the comments, and if you could, please vote in the poll. Do you think this is a good direction for the channel?

The things you actually care about will always make the best content. I also don't think you don't need to be so explicit in announcing where you're going. Try stuff, see if it works, see if people like like. Then try something else, see what you enjoy. Honestly the majority, if not all of the audience won't notice what you stop doing. I would strongly advise to not make videos you find boring just because of your audience. They will suck and someone that's interested in the same subject will make a better video.

I liked you YT videos and wanted to support what you were doing. I was working to become a Nomad already so thought I might find some helpful info or an interesting community.
