Can't decide between open A or 5th fret A
I'm working on "Rudy, A Message to You" and I can't decide which positions to use. Open A is easier to play because it spans only 3 frets. But the 5th fret A sounds nicer, alas it has a 4 fret span, so more jumping around. What would you do?

How to work on your bass like the pros
I think it's a good idea to start learning simple adjustments to you instrument and this is a great video to guide you through those basics without ruining your instrument.

Thanks , great information 👍
Practice Space.
Finally at a place where I have a dedicated practice space, where I can leave eveything as it is and ready to use. But I struggle physically sitting / finding a good chair to sit in and practice. Standing is not a viable option due to physical issues. Does anyone have any advice? Thank you in advance.

@Mike Burkhart it's called a rush head max Mike, I ordered it on Amazon and it turned out it's nice for practice. As you can see in the pic it hangs on the jack plug, has 3 different amp sounds and 3 effects I plug my big skull crusher headset into it and I use a Esinkin Bluetooth adapter so I can play along with my spotify collection or anything I find on utube.....yes....good times.. 😆
Welcome to the corner!

Played electric and acoustic guitar for years, but found that I really like the grove
Which other Bass YouTube channels do you watch?
So glad I came across Bob's channel by chance other day and joined here. Other channels on Bass I watch for tuition are Stevek on bass, Rich Brown find these two tutors explain things slowly and perfectly so beginner bassist can take in and understand. Also watch SBL Scotts Bass Lesson,Dan Hawkins, ebass guitar James Egan good content but sometimes a bit too quick showing and explaining too newbies I find
