Curiosity in Life, to Understand, Evolve, and Succeed
Becoming the best version of yourself, always starts with everything you are curious about. There is so much to learn, so much to deal with in life, but if you don't ask yourself why you do what you do, you might end up doing things just for the sake of doing them. That's exactly what I realised when I was about to graduate from university. It made perfect sense to pursue a career, because that's what you are supposed to do. However, what does that really mean, what we are supposed to do? Isn't that based on a set of beliefs and concepts we like to telll ourselves, without really knowing why? Back in 2019, my curiosity got sparked because of doing research (graduation thesis) on something I didn't know anything about, in order for the outcomes of the research to be applied in an environment I knew even less about. (Summary of the research: Integration of e-Health devices in the Moroccan health care system). This research, including the experience of having to immerse myself in a totally different environment, with a different culture, without properly speaking any of the most common local languages (French, Berber, Arabic) was the very start of curiosity leading the way in life. Before finishing my research, I knew it was a sign, one to not take lightly. Because I finally realised how important it was to live a life based on curiosity in order to become the best version of myself. So instead of pursuing a career, I booked a one-way ticket to India to leave about two weeks after graduating, the best decision ever. Flash forward to 2025, after years of travelling around the world, and having met my partner from Peru in Australia, it is time to turn experiences and lessons learned, from different cultures, environments, and people from all over the world, into valuable support and guidance to a life lived to the fullest. And that's what we are here for! I am very pleased to be part of the Nonbusy community and after having met @Jakub Pacanda in today's networking call, I figured it was time to tell a little bit more about myself as well as the community we (the members and I) are currently building:
