Ghandi, Madre Teresa o Nelson Mandella? (English in attachment)

For me, as an Early Childhood Educator, my purpose is to help young children to understand their emotions and feel safe to express themselves. At that age, learning is done through play to help with their gross and fine motor skills, learn social skills through sharing and taking turns. To build safe secure relationships with the children and their families. We do a lot of self reflection in how we respond to children and how we model our own values

@Andrew Nelson I mean it's taught to do it regularly but I guess not everyone would. Maybe 50/50. I found the younger educators dont do it as much as the older more experienced ones, also educators who are parents themselves as well and who regularly work on themselves as a parent outside of work will naturally self reflect on their practices at work

(English below)
Is the need to be right helping you? We have all been in those conversations where we say something we know to be true, and then are contradicted. What are the advantages of letting go of the need to be right? What could be another course of action rather than provin we are right?

Oh I am not good at self control when I know im right ! I haven't yet mastered how to be polite about it lol The advantage would be less anxiety, i feel riled up when im challenged by non truth. I have a huge thing about lies- I hate them. I dont lie, and when people dribble shit or say something thats not complete fact- I interpret it as being lied to. I should learn to accept that not everyone hyperfixates on subjects of interest and learns as much as they can. I should say, "oh hey it's just something I read, if you're interested you can research yourself, otherwise, we will have to agree to disagree" But, I am learning how to agree to disagree cause I disagree and its hard to agree to that !

Saturdays i like to wash bed linen and towels and do some cleaning in the morning and have the rest of the weekend to enjoy myself in a clean home ! Its winter here and very wet this weekend so the kids and i just chill inside, maybe play a board game, but they're teenagers and prefer to do their own thing these days
