A little deviation of direction
Hey all, Just giving you a heads up that this group will move more towards "educators" (which we all are). Hence you are going to see changes. Also, ahead of what I expect will be a multi-language interface for Skool (they have been talking about different languages for a little while now). I am moving this space back to Spanish as the educators I hope to influence are here in South America, Chile to start off with. So, while Skool is still figuring out how to make these pages multi-lingual, those that don't speak Spanish, I am sorry, but you can do a bit of "lurking" and can always write in the chat to me in English, or post a question for the group in English and I can translate it. Also, if you are "desperate" to read all the posts here you can use "deepl.com". It is fast and easy for translations. Thanks for all your support, and don't feel you have to leave if your Spanish isn't "fantastico".

I see it as an opportunity to learn a new language! Definitely will keep lurking and try the translation sites, thank you, and how exciting!!! Skool is so amazing!
Retiring at 50 was a big mistake
Wanting to retire early is a goal for many. I used to want that. Now I don't want to retire, because I see too value I can give. What do you think about your retirement? What is your plan?

Id like to retire from my "job" but I will never retire from writing, being creative, growing in self, and helping others 😀
Processes versus Goals
Processes tend to create habits we stick with and bring long term growth Goals can be motivating. Which of these two are more helpful for you or do you use something else to move you forward?

A goal gives me motivation to trust the process ✨️

The process is the journey, the goal is the destination 🙌
Is our day running us, or are we running our day?
Especially if we have a traditional job, our day can be full of meetings and there is little time to stop and think and wrestle back control of our days. What do you do to make it your day on your terms?

These days, I work 2 days a week, study 2 days a week, and have a 3 day weekend every weekend! And if I'm not in the mood to study, I will either focus on my Skool community or watch netflix. My daughter has a lot of appointments during my study days so i work around them as well. But for the most part, I feel that i run my day, especially now the kids are teenagers so theyre not demanding and can do a lot for themselves
Sharing from Ryan Holiday of the Daily Dad email
Happy Father’s Day! Today, we’re sharing an entry from the June chapter of The Daily Dad book. June 12 We Are All Complicated Naturally, we want to be perfect for our kids, in no small part because for the first several years of their lives, to them we can do no wrong, and we want to prove them right. But since we know we’re not perfect, inevitably we feel guilty or inadequate when we let them down—even if they’re unaware of it at the time. This feeling of insufficiency can be so powerful that we are prone to hiding it or lying about it or, worse, acting like hypocrites. You might think it was devastating for the comedian Pete Davidson, who lost his father on September 11, to learn that his father was far from perfect. His parents’ marriage had not been great (which is why they were separated and divorced not long before that tragic day). His father had done drugs and gotten into trouble more than once in his adult life. As Pete grew older and discovered more and more about his heroic father, who died saving people in the collapse of the Twin Towers, he wasn’t disappointed, he was heartened. These failings and foibles humanized his father in a way that the stories his friends and family told the then seven-year-old Pete about his dad never could. “It made me realize that he had his own issues,” Pete explained to Judd Apatow in Sicker in the Head. “He had problems just like everybody else. But it also made me realize that even with all that, his morals were still intact, and none of that prevented him from being a hero.”
