January is National Hobby Month
Which means we get to talk about our favorite topic. At HobbyScool, we believe hobbies are more than pastimes — they’re powerful tools for creativity, clarity, and confidence. Some people use their hobbies to relax. Some to express themselves. Some to build businesses. All are valid. All matter. So I’m curious:What hobby has made the biggest impact on your life — creatively, emotionally, or even financially? Drop it in the comments 👇You might inspire someone else to finally start theirs.

Hi, I am Roslyn Hill from Yorkshire UK. I am passionate about rethinking how crochet is learned and how it is taught. I have created a new craft I call Crochet Art, in which I teach crochet using a rug latch hook with new modern methods using just chain and slip stitch, a new ‘bridges’ crochet method and freeform techniques. I also invented the Cordmaker after taping two rug hooks together. I use the Cordmaker to teach a new craft I call Cordcrochet. I hope there may be an opportunity here to promote this new modern take on crochet.🧡💜💖💙❤️💛💚

@Cristine Arevalo I am looking for teachers who would like to teach an easy form of crochet. Or individuals who struggle with traditional crochet. Or expert crafters who would like to learn advanced crochet art.
