Understanding YouTube and my questions
Here’s a clean version that fits that section while staying organized and not overwhelming: The biggest thing I want to learn right now is how to make my videos more engaging so people actually stay and watch. I feel like I have good ideas, but I want to improve things like hooks, pacing, storytelling, and also get better at thumbnails and titles so people actually click. I’m still early in my journey (around 100 subscribers), and I’ve been feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the ideas I have. It’s exciting, but I also get stuck trying to figure out the “right” series or direction to start with. Sometimes that pressure makes it harder to actually begin. If you were in my position, what would you focus on first? Here are a few specific questions I have: • What works better for beginners — simple longplays or a Let’s Play / Forever World? • What’s a good beginner-friendly series idea?• Does restarting fresh and scheduling content ahead sound like a good idea? • Is running an SMP alongside a main series manageable, or too much early on? • Any tips for recording confidently when you’re alone? • How did you approach longer videos when starting out? • How do you balance streaming and turning streams into videos? • How important is editing for beginners—should it stay simple? I’d also love to understand more about the reality of content creation overall—like growth, the algorithm, and even the financial side if you’re comfortable sharing. Thank you for taking the time to read this, I really appreciate any advice 🙏 This version fits the “questions section” better: clear, focused, and still shows you’re serious without being too long.

Right now I am posting once a week. I'm considering doing a let's play in Peaceful mode. I don't see alot of Peaceful mode videos out there. I want to begin to learn about editing also and creating B roll for introduction and outro.

I find early morning the best. My home is quiet. There's little chance of being called away. Evening are good for creating thumb nails...as I can walk away from those if need be. I use Canva for that.
First course is in the works
I'm currently developing the first course in this community, and it's more of an introductory one for those who don't know about traffic sources. Traffic sources are different for evergreen and trending videos, so I will go over those. Understanding how your videos are discovered is important. You want a good balance in general, but if you're going for evergreen content, there are two types that are very important. I wonder if you can guess what they are.

I think tutorial is one
What is your biggest question about YouTube?
Let's get things started with gaps of knowledge. What is the biggest thing you want to learn about running a YouTube channel and making videos? These topics may be turned into lessons in the Classroom.

Yes, everything to taste I think...
Welcome to YouTube Creator Workshop!
In this community, you will find likeminded people who are interested in growing their channels and improving their videos. This includes, but is not limited to, video descriptions, thumbnails, titles, search engine optimization, video structure, hooks, and more. If you have a question, I will have advice for you, and so will other members of the community. This community is driven by you. The Classroom will contain lessons created by myself to help you with the growth of your channel and your videos, targeting specific aspects that you may be interested in. You are free to request more in depth lessons that will help everyone. I will have real examples of analytics from my own channel, as well as how I create my videos. As with other communities on Skool, YouTube Creator Workshop is always a work in progress, because there is always something new to learn as the environment and algorithm on YouTube changes (which it does frequently). I will be active in here every day with answers, new questions, and more. To start things off, please introduce yourselves to the community and what kind of YouTube channel you have.

G'day to ya. I have started my channel also .It's called Race Runner. Ihope to learn a bit more about the art of content creating on You Tube. I hope to make some good friends along the way. I think I have had as many as 33 views so far. I think if I'm constant I can grow a good channel.
