Squash/Seed Saving
My squash was a huge success this year! My 2 plants put out a lot of fruit and this baby I kept for seeds. I did have an issue with powdery mildew but chopped off the affected stems and fed them to my worms, they really enjoyed the leaves. Then the plants just powered on πŸ’ͺ Who here likes squash?

@Kayleen West you really do, it only takes a couple of days and they aren't they greatest anymore. This one was a lot more than a couple of days overdue 😜

Very different weather on the East Coast of NSW
It's gone one from a heatwave to quite cool here on the East Coast of NSW for the last few days. Very enjoyable, but probably wont last much longer. How's the weather where you are? Did this post reach any international members? Please share what the weather is like in your part of the world? Happy Gardening Marty

I believe a diseased plant is like a diseased human. Disease cannot live in a healthy body, the same goes for the plant. Keep one aside and give it a dose of fertilizer and see how that goes. I understand this means moving your sick plant to your neighbours backyard but I feel it would be worth the experiment
Blueberries!
Christmas came early this year when I was taken to a different garden center and I stumbled on this one blueberry plant amongst the other berries, I asked if it they had others I could chose from but they confirmed what I had knows its probably the only one in SA (as there was issues with supply this season) so I get to try again since my last plant didn't like its move to a new pot, but it had to be done as it was falling apart. So we start again I'll start prepping the soil , wish me luck! I think i got this but being the unicorn of the garden centers lately, i feel a lot of responsibility!
