Greetings
šŸ‘‹ Hello everyone, I’m excited to be here in The Med-Shred Collective! I joined this community to connect with like-minded people who are passionate about health, performance, and pushing themselves to new levels. I believe that when driven minds come together, we can share ideas, motivate each other, and create real transformation, both in and out of the gym. I’m looking forward to learning, contributing, and growing alongside you all. šŸ’Ŗ Would love to hear from others, what inspired you to join this group?

@Farrah-Hanim Amran I’m glad to hear that! I’m doing well too, thanks for asking. I’m not in the medical line, I’m actually a professional ghostwriter. Out of curiosity, what area of medicine are you in?

@Farrah-Hanim Amran That’s wonderful! I work as a professional ghostwriter, helping medical professionals share their knowledge in ways that really connect with people, through articles, guides, or posts. I’d love to hear more about your work as a GP and your focus areas.

From here on out, this community will be exclusive to healthcare professionals only. That means to join and stay in this group, you must be directly tied to the healthcare field — paramedics, EMTs, nurses, doctors, respiratory techs, lab techs, pharmacists, therapists, and similar roles. I’m currently working on ways to verify this, and moving forward, you’ll need to make it clear in your description/profile that you are a healthcare professional. If you can’t demonstrate that, membership will not be granted. This decision comes because there are simply far too many people here who have no ties to healthcare. No offense to any marketing agents, business coaches, or outside consultants, but this is not the community I envisioned when I built Med-Shred. Allowing that kind of presence is watering down the purpose and value of this group. This space is meant for healthcare providers supporting each other in fitness, nutrition, wellness, and overall well-being. That’s our mission. That’s who this is for. Thank you for understanding — and for those of you who live this life every day, thank you for being part of what we’re building. Brad S

Thanks for clarifying, Bradley. Completely understand the direction and purpose of the group, it makes sense to keep the focus on healthcare professionals supporting each other. Excited to be part of this community and contribute!
ā° Time Management & Discipline for Healthcare Workers
In 17 days, I’ll be lining up for a 100-mile ultramarathon. To prepare, I’ve logged nearly 2,200 miles of running this year—all while lifting, stretching, and recovering. And that’s just one part of my life. I work full-time as a flight nurse/medic. I’m raising 3 busy kids as a single dad. I run a business on the side. I wrote a book this year. And I still make time to serve in my church, playing guitar in the worship band. I don’t say this to brag. I say this because as healthcare professionals, we all know what it feels like to be stretched thin—long shifts, stressful decisions, no one understanding how much we pour out daily. But here’s the truth: don’t tell me there’s no time. You make time for what matters. You choose discipline over excuses. That’s why I’m building a Discipline Masterclass course for this community. Because if we can show up for our patients at 2 a.m. in the ER, on the rig, or in the ICU… we can also show up for ourselves. I hope this motivates you to take a hard look at your schedule and ask yourself: šŸ‘‰ Where can I be more disciplined? šŸ‘‰ What can I cut out so I can show up for what really matters? You have one life, one body, and one chance. Get after it. Prioritize your health and wellness—because your patients, your family, and your future self are counting on it. Brad S. (I hope to have this course completed for you in the next month or two. Til then I pray that this post will light a fire under you! You can do it!!!)

Wow Bradley, this is powerful. Balancing all of that while still committing to a 100-mile ultramarathon is beyond inspiring. Your reminder about making time instead of finding time really hit home. Looking forward to your Discipline Masterclass, this is exactly the kind of mindset shift many of us in healthcare need. Thanks for leading by example!

@Bradley Soat Love this energy! šŸ”„I see the same principle, you can’t wait for inspiration, you make space for it with discipline.
