Struggling with Negative Responses in Cold Calling
Hello everyone, I’m reaching out for some advice. I’m based in India and have been doing cold calls to pitch my advertising services to roofing businesses in the USA. Unfortunately, I’ve been receiving a lot of negative responses and even abusive language during these calls. Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips on how to handle such situations and improve my cold calling strategy? Thanks in advance for your help! Rokerz

@Jason V I understand your concern. To address this, I am focusing on alternative outreach strategies to connect with potential clients. Thank you for your feedback.

@Mahnoor Shahid Yes, it's possible to hire someone else to do cold calling for us, but I currently don't have the budget to hire someone for this task.
Free Trial Question 🧐
Hi guys, I'm considering offering a free trial and I'm not sure how to approach it. Should I clearly state in my offer that I'm providing a free trial, or should I initially present a different offer and then, during the meeting, downgrade it to a free trial? For example, should I advertise 'I will do X with a FREE TRIAL' or 'I will do X for 500 euros' and then, in the meeting, say 'Instead of the original offer, I will do a FREE TRIAL'? It's a bit confusing, so I appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Hi there, I'm also new to this, but here's my take on your question. It might be more effective to clearly state that you're offering a free trial upfront. This way, potential clients immediately understand the value you're providing without any confusion. For example, you could advertise, "I will do X with a FREE TRIAL." This transparency can attract more interest and build trust from the start. If you present the offer as "I will do X for 500 euros" and then downgrade it during the meeting, it might create a sense of bait-and-switch, which could potentially deter clients. Ultimately, being clear and upfront about your free trial offer can help set the right expectations and encourage more people to take advantage of your services. Hope this helps! Best, Rokerz
