Games in a classroom
I read something in a team meeting this week (at the elementary school I teach in) presented by our administrators talking about games/competition in the classroom causing stress and anxiety in students. I’m curious of people’s thoughts on the negative side effects of gamification in the classroom…..

Sounds like they either are taking things too serious or are going about gamification wrong. Also school isn't sposed to be a stress free environment, people don't grow/learn without a bit of stress 😬

Easy this weekends a family weekend 😄 so whatever they want to do we are doing that
🚀 We’re building this together.
I’ve just given the classroom a little reboot—the full gamification course is now free and open to everyone beyond Level 2 (since that’s super easy to reach). From here on, I want to make sure we’re creating things that you, the active members, are most excited about. So here’s the big question: 👉 What would you love to see us build around creating an engaged and monetized community? I’m not putting out a list or promising to do everything that comes up—but if you share an idea, there’s a pretty good chance it’ll land near the top of what we tackle next. Drop your thoughts below ⬇️—this is the perfect moment to shape what we build together.

I am always for a place of collaborations so places to members whom you'd want to interview or work with and have a areas that lets people know you are looking or open to something like that, because sometimes people just want to be left alone

@Rob Alvarez lol I fixed it 😂
What are your plans for the weekend?
I know some people work regardless of the day of the week, some just chill out on weekends, and others have occasional (or regular) great plans. Where do you stand on this?

✅ Wrapping Up the 7-Day Kickstart Challenge
Big thanks to everyone who jumped into our first-ever Kickstart! Even if you didn’t hit all 7 days, showing up—even once—is already a win. Consistency is one of the hardest muscles to build, and this challenge is proof of that. The real takeaway? Engagement doesn’t come from perfection. It comes from starting, experimenting, and finding what sticks for you. This was our first iteration of the challenge. I’ll be refining it so it’s easier to complete next time—because the whole point is to create momentum, not guilt. 👉 Where in your life have you managed to stay consistent (fitness, learning, work, etc.)—and how could you borrow that same strategy here?

Skool is a great example, I will be super engaged with communities for some time but once I fall off I don't tend to pay attention to what happens there

@Rob Alvarez no generally I just lose interest or things no longer line up well, being a stay at home Dad takes and gives flexibility but with that it also changes often and randomly at least with the age my kiddos are at currently
