Didnt give up.
So I started the left side of the bears head and face 1st. I didnt like how the tattoo was coming out and nearly threw my mat away.. if I did that id have not learned how to do the texture i was after. So instead I watched a video on animal texture. I left it a night and went at it the following day. Remember Steve saying he didn't like bears, so I tried a bear. I much more prefer the right side, I added whites to eyes, teeth mouth claws. Its just practice mats and whats its there for.. id love to see other people's work, mats or skin.. so if your reading this please share yours too.. Ps its past midnight when I was finishing off so the background is rushed.
Didnt give up.

🏆 Weekly Wins!
Happy Sunday guys! I hope you're all having a great weekend. Let's share some wins! My first may sound weird - I had a full day cancel on Wednesday. In the past this was stressful, but the past couple of months I've been really busy & booking a bit more than normal. Having an unexpected day off is actually really nice. It allowed me to work on social media & help out with some family things. Spending time with my family is super important to me & it has been a little harder while being so busy. For tattooing, I got to finish a Boba Fett comic-book tattoo for my client Scott & I had a client yesterday travel from Seattle to start a Pearl Jam piece. It was two awesome days tattooing & mainly talking about music! How have your weeks been? Any tattoo, art or life wins you'd like to share?

My 1st ever paying client
Never been as nervous as I was tattooing my 1st ever paying client, he traveled 2 and half hours to come to me. I did a post what ive taken down on selling site, stating I am self taught artish and only had 10 months experience at the time, on mats and a few family members. I offered my services at 150 quid day rate ( average in uk is 500) so I was cheap qnd looking for experience.. I design a whole leg sleeve front an back for my 1st paying client.. I was bricking it.. But these are my 1st.. im about 15months into tattooing. Ive stopped tattooing human skin until im happy with my mats.. I don't want 2 be a scratcher. I am licensed and my house is licensed. But there you go, that's my whole journey so far.

🎨 Colour Blending Lesson
Here’s a quick video, as requested, explaining basic colour blending. Any questions about this, or anything else, let me know in the comments! I’ll record a follow up to this on fake skins to show you the inks as well.

great video, thank you mate!
Traditional
So, after my attempt of a portrait using 3rl I went back to the beginning, I believed i was trying to run before I could walk.. attempting a portrait before even trying traditional was crazy.. these definitely help my line work, these are some of my 1st trad tattoo, the line work on these are shocking but honestly its loads better now.
