Hi, I’m Rod Walbecq “Doc”, and I’m here to learn more about healing holistically. Fun fact about me I used to be a professional “cutman” for boxers and mma fighters! I’m from The Motor City!

@Andy Franklin have you thought about combining your talent in food and infusing. I know a veteran who has done this. If you celebrate Thanksgiving he does infused gravy, salad dressing, and other things and if you eat a little bit of everything you end up consuming about 20% THC and around 5% of 4-5 different CBD’s. Add that to turkey and you’re gonna have a really nice nap!
THC and CBD don’t destroy brain cells — they protect them.
Data: Decades of research debunk the old myth that cannabis causes brain damage. Modern studies in Neurochemistry International (2018), Frontiers in Cellular Neuroscience (2021), and Nature Reviews Neuroscience (2023) show cannabinoids act as neuroprotectants, shielding brain cells from oxidative stress and inflammation — two key drivers of cognitive decline. Mechanism: THC activates CB1 receptors, improving mitochondrial stability and reducing excitotoxicity (over-firing neurons). CBD boosts BDNF (Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor), which promotes new neuron growth and supports neural repair. Application: Used intentionally, cannabis supports brain recovery after stress, overtraining, or poor sleep — helping you stay sharper, calmer, and more resilient. Takeaway: Cannabis doesn’t make you lose brain cells. It helps your brain protect the ones you already have — and even create new ones. 🌿

@Saint Campodonico thank you very much. I will discuss it with her. Medium to lower THC along with CBD and CBG!
Before we talk about how cannabis helps you, we need to understand what it really is.
Cannabis is a plant. But it’s not just any plant — it’s a bioactive botanical that interacts directly with your body’s internal balancing system, the Endocannabinoid System (ECS). The plant contains over 100 active compounds called cannabinoids — the most common being: - THC (tetrahydrocannabinol): affects mood, focus, and perception - CBD (cannabidiol): supports recovery, calm, and inflammation balance - CBG and CBN: emerging cannabinoids with their own unique benefits These compounds — along with aromatic terpenes — give each strain its scent, taste, and effect. Cannabis has been used for thousands of years as medicine, nutrition, and ritual. Modern science is finally catching up to what ancient cultures already knew: this plant can restore balance in both body and mind. ✨ Why This Matters: When you understand cannabis as a plant — not a product — you start to see it as a tool for health, awareness, and connection. Try This: Hold a cannabis product in your hand today — flower, tincture, edible, whatever you use. Instead of seeing it as “weed,” notice it as a plant medicine. That small shift changes how you use it — and what it gives back. How has cannabis shown up in your life — as medicine, creativity, or something else entirely?

100%. The war on drugs was a war on us, perpetuated by Big Pharma, big oil and the politicians who would gain campaign contributions and back alley money laundering to lie to the American people and the world for their own benefit. Remember, this is your brain on drugs commercials??? Then, they doubled down and made cannabis a schedule 1 as dangerous as any narcotic including cocaine, meth and heroine, knowing full well that cannabis was a healing medication to balance our endocannabinoid system. I asked my primary care doc how much time did medical school talk about your endocannabinoid system? 2 days!!! Out of 10 years of schooling about the human body…one of the most important systems we have in our bodies! Do your research and you will find the truth!

@Saint Campodonico there is a buzz going around about the numbers of universities from around the country doing cbd research. The University of Michigan is doing a study on CBD-V and PTSD and Vererans from the Ann Arbor VA Hospital next doorwith volunteered to be a part of it. I’ve “heard” rumblings of positive results but the study isn’t done.
