Looking ahead to 2026 👀
As founders, we spend a lot of time reacting. Clients, cash flow, fires, opportunities. Before we know it, another year is gone and we’re still running someone else’s agenda. So let’s pause for a moment. When you think about 2026, what matters most to you right now? Not what sounds impressive. Not what you think you should say. What actually feels true. 👇 Vote below, then drop a comment if you want to add context. For 2026, my primary focus is: 🟦 Scaling revenue and profitability 🟩 Regaining time, energy, and personal freedom 🟨 Building systems so the business runs without me 🟪 Clarifying my vision and direction before pushing harder There’s no right answer here. Clarity always comes before speed. Let’s make 2026 a year we choose, not one that just happens to us.

@Gerold Joubert Part of recovery means clarity and direction. This means clarity in all aspects. We have to view past the "stigma" that you dream success alone. You do not. - Who is my support system (lets do get honest, we need this 100%, someone that is 100% available to keep you accountable, encourage you, pray for you) - What did I do too fast, but could have worked at a slower pace? I heard God whisper so clearly in my heart "2026 will be a 'less is more' year". This fits with recovering, restoring and then succeeding. 2026 will be the building of the foundation, after this year of analyzing which materials will work best. It is not starting over. It is going back to basics and building stronger.

@Gerold Joubert yes yes !!! This is it
Don't waste time
Waiting won't make things easier... just later. Don't waste any more time; start where you are with what you have. The rest will fall into place along the way. You don't need a perfect plan to succeed. What you really need is to start and adjust as you go.

Maybe not a perfect plan, but a basic plan would be nice. And also not leaps, but small steps.
Most of us don’t stay on the wrong path because we don’t know it’s wrong….
We stay because leaving feels uncomfortable. Because we’ve already invested time, effort, and identity into it. Because we tell ourselves, “let me just see this through a bit longer.” But time doesn’t make a wrong direction right. It only increases the cost of changing course. This applies to careers we’ve outgrown, habits that drain us, relationships that no longer align, and even mindsets that keep us small. The longer we ignore that quiet inner voice, the heavier the emotional, mental, and sometimes financial price becomes. The brave move isn’t staying and suffering in silence. The brave move is admitting, “This isn’t where I’m meant to be anymore,” and choosing a new direction even if it means starting again. So here’s the real question worth sitting with as the year comes to a close: Are you still on a train that’s taking you where you want to go… or have you just been afraid to get off?

@Tumisang Khoza I was raised on a "bus". Here's why: As children, my mother would always remind my big brothers (and this I remember because all were always older than me- hehe 😉) - and later on (like now) myself, that we should climb back onto the bus, from where we got off. She use to say this in a manner that Holy Spirit is our bus driver. And because we have free will, we could climb off wherever we want to settle, but it is advisable to ask the driver if 'this is my destination' rather than assume because of the appearance of the area. But upgrading to a train would be so much better as long as my Operator stays Jesus. I loved your analogy, and I loved that I could share mine. Our confortzone- or rather our own hearts' desires, are sometimes our biggest enemies, motion stoppers, or let us say honestly - success killers.
Just keep going!
Obstacles do and will come, just keep going.

@Tshepo Masike walk on where you cannot see, walk on in the valley's low. As long as you are ready and steadfast. Moving forward, avoids you being prey.
🤷🏽‍♂️
Imagine putting your dreams on hold because of someone who won’t even remember your name in 50 years… let alone have a say in your life today. We stress about opinions from people who: 1. won’t pay our bills. 2. won’t live with our regrets. 3. won’t show up when it’s hard. And yet we let them sit in the front row of our decisions. Most people are too busy worrying about their own lives to actually judge yours for long. And the ones who do are usually not doing much themselves. So take the risk. Start the thing. Wear the outfit. Launch the idea. Apply anyway. Worst case? Someone talks for a week. Best case? You change your life. Which one is really worth worrying about?
