Strawberry Cheesecake 🍓 (35g protein/serving)
Makes 4 generous servings Nutrition: 35–40 g protein 3 g fiber Crust - 4 graham-cracker sheets, crushed - 1 tablespoon melted butter Cheesecake filling - 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese - 1 cup plain Greek yogurt - 1 scoop vanilla protein powder - 2 tablespoons sugar-free cheesecake pudding mix - 1 teaspoon vanilla - Sweetener to taste, if needed - Strawberry topping - 2 cups chopped strawberries - 1 tablespoon strawberry preserves - 1 teaspoon lemon juice - Extra graham-cracker crumbs for topping Directions 1. Mix the graham-cracker crumbs with the melted butter. Press into the bottom of a small container. 2. Blend the cottage cheese until completely smooth. 3. Add the Greek yogurt, protein powder, pudding mix, vanilla and sweetener. Blend again until thick and creamy. 4. Spread the cheesecake filling over the crust. 5. Mix the strawberries with the preserves and lemon juice. 6. Spoon the strawberries over the filling, gently swirl in some of the sauce and sprinkle with extra graham-cracker crumbs. 7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours—or pop it into the freezer for about 30 minutes if patience isn’t your spiritual gift. 😂 For even more fiber, stir 1 tablespoon of chia seeds into the strawberries and let them sit for 10 minutes before adding them.

I’ve been on Tirzepatide for 2 1/2 years. I lost 45 lbs and have been maintaining at 4mg each week. I was at 7.5mg and tried spacing my shot for up to 14 days but the inflammation came back quickly. I’ve also tried splitting and lowering the dose.
Pumpkin Protein Muffins
Pre-Heat oven to 350 degrees. Bake 25-30 minutes 1 1/4 C oat flour (blend oats to make flour) 1 C pumpkin puree 10 oz. Greek yogurt 2 eggs 1/2 c vanilla protein powder (I use Just Ingredients French vanilla) 1 tsp. Pumpkin pie spice 1 tsp. Cinnamon 1 tsp. Baking soda 1 tsp. Baking powder 1/4 C Chocolate chips or raisins (or a little more) Optional 2 TBSP Chia seeds Makes 12 14C/9P/4 fiber (more with chia seeds) I double this and freeze them. I just take a couple out at a time. I bake in silicon molds and test with toothpick. The recipe says 20 minutes but they are a little wet so I’ve always baked them longer.

Should I Drink Soda When Taking a GLP-1?
The answer is… up to you! 🥤 Nothing is automatically off-limits in the Food Freedom way of eating. Instead of asking, “Am I allowed to have this?” I ask myself: “Does the amount I’m choosing fit the healthy, balanced life I want to live?” Could you drink three Big Gulps every day while taking a GLP-1? Sure. But would that choice support your health, hydration and goals? Probably not. 😂 What about diet soda? It doesn’t contain the sugar or calories of regular soda, but that doesn’t automatically make it “good” or “bad.” Some people enjoy it without a problem. For others, the carbonation, caffeine or sweeteners may increase bloating, reflux, nausea or bathroom issues—especially while taking a GLP-1. My personal choice? I drink about ½ cup of Dr Pepper Zero every day. It’s my little fun drink! I enjoy it, it satisfies me, and I don’t need a giant cup or six refills. And, I make sure I'm getting my 3 cups of water each day. My small drink doesn't replace that. That’s Food Freedom: enjoying the foods and drinks you love without turning them into forbidden fruit—or letting them crowd out what your body needs. So enjoy your soda if you want it. Just pay attention to: 🥤 How much you’re drinking 💧 Whether you’re still getting enough water 🤢 How your stomach feels afterward 🧠 Whether you’re choosing it because you truly enjoy it or simply out of habit You don’t need perfect choices. You need choices that make sense for your body, your health and the life you want to live.

A couple years ago when I first started Tirzepatide and had a little nausea I got hooked on Ginger-ale flavored Olipop. I have never been a pop drinker and am proud to say I’ve broken the habit. It was a bit costly.
