While I was gone from the group, I was working on upgrading my style. With the move to a new duty station, I figured it was time for a new watch. I wanted an everyday watch that I could wear on or off-duty and this Hamilton just made sense to me. I swapped the bracelet for a rubber deployment strap. I also got rubber straps in grey and red. How did I do? Please give honest criticism.

Today I am wearing one of my favorite watches as I am celebrating a health victory winning my daily battle over type 2 diabetes and breaking generational curses in this fight. It can be won if you are diligent. Every tick of this watch honors the legacy of the P-51 Mustang, the aircraft that carried the Tuskegee Airmen to greatness during World War II. Displayed with pride at 9 o’clock, the Mustang stands as a reminder of their unmatched bravery and lasting impact on history. The number seven on the dial speaks to the idea of completion—celebrating the perseverance and triumph of those who dared to soar beyond limits.
