Let's Talk about...
RESPONSIBILITY. Yes...the "R" word. Quite honestly, I haven't been focusing about this topic until... just a few minutes ago. I was commenting on a post of another community, and suddenly, this topic screamed in my face. While the actual word, "responsibility" was not even mentioned in the discussion, the concept was suggested. With that in mind...Let me ask all of you... Do you believe that we should take responsibility for Both our own actions and feelings? Should we accept full responsibility for our own actions? What does that actually mean? Are we ever justified for actions that may result in harm to another person? Tell me what you think...I'll give you my perspective soon. 😁

In my opinion we are responsible for our actions. Responsibility means you own your mistakes. Don't blame someone for what you have done. Be a responsible parent. Raise your children to respect others, with manners.

@Steve Stover Tough one. To me age shouldn't come into play in being charged. Going to rehab? No. Juvenile detention until he is old enough i would say yes. As far as parent's responsibility. They may have raised this kid right. When kids get in their teenage years, I'm assuming the younger boy was at least that. They become impressionable by others, peer pressure, going along because they feel they have to. He was involved in a shooting where people were killed. He should be charged and not sent to rehab. We just had a case here in Texas where a high school student killed another student. Because he was under the age st the time of the killing he was not subject to life in prison. All evidence pointed to premeditated murder. He got 35 yrs, parole after 15 years. The thing that bothers me the most is that even if your under age you still know what your doing is wrong.
