He didn't roll out of bed like this
Nate Herk hit 1 million subscribers on YouTube last week. He started 720 days ago. 511 videos. His own words about the early days: "I remember filming with a $30 webcam and no microphone." Everybody skips that part. They see the million and assume he rolled out of bed one morning and it was there. He earned it. He earned it by doing the thing, and then doing it again, for a long time. He didn't quit at 10 days because it wasn't working. He didn't quit at 30 days. He didn't pivot to a new idea halfway through. 720 days goes by in a heartbeat. It's going to pass whether you do anything with it or not. You can make those two years long, slow and painful. Or you can accept today, right now, that this takes a long time, and start. Then imagine what it looks like for you 720 days from now. Watch the video. Then let me know in the comments. What is the thing you're going to start doing today and commit to for a long period of time? That's what I want to hear.

Good one. Amen to this. 100%. Nate's YouTube and community are great, and he gives a lot of value in a hot in demand niche, and this is more proof that we can build from the ground up, and if we stay consistent, and give a lot of value, the stars will eventually align.

@Brian O'Neill it’s an interesting thing because, I guess we could all just sit behind our computers and pump out 20 videos a day. But, I also think quality is a big part of it to some degree but it seems like YouTube and rewards quantity often as well. I do think there’s a lot more to it, for example, short form videos feeding long form videos, or having one long form video or many long form that keep people on the platform longer, nice selection and other videos that feed into the long form videos and bring specific. Seems… So many different strategies. I think a lot of people burn out, don’t have a lot of time, or they don’t know what to post. For me, it was a combination of the two things, as well as trying to figure out what would be valuable to share. I also think a lot of people end up having to pivot, depending on their niche, and some have been able to stay in the same niche for a long time and build a brand for themselves, similar to him. The good news is that there’s never been a better time… And you can experiment with multiple. At least AI makes that process a little easier by giving us potential topics, niches, content ideas, and helps cut down the time that it takes to do certain tasks manually. But also, I think people who leverage AI, can build apps and tools to offer people that don’t want to take the time and or learn how to build them themselves.. Fun times. To say the least. It just sucks sometimes because every idea seems like a good idea until it’s not or abandoned.

Is there some sort of tool that helps creating well-formatted Skool posts. Or is that unnecessary when dealing with a small, self-contained community. I figure a nice post can't hurt.

Hey. Just wanted to encourage people to go to the classroom and do the ChatGPT prompt in "Pick your direction" (in case you haven't yet). I was fighting the idea of using AI (maybe fear of the unknown?!), but the possibilities that open up with it, are pretty cool, I have to admit! Could live be becoming simple now...??😳

Too Many Business Ideas
If you have too many business ideas... watch this video. If you have your business idea dialed in... don't watch this video (unless you just love to hear me talk). This is a major problem for so many. And I'm on a mission to help you solve it. This video is a brain dump and very unorganized. I'm all over the place in many sections. But I believe spending the time to watch it (speed it up) will help you get closer to understanding why you have too many ideas and how to solve it.
