Great effort for the first time using a mechanical pencil. They can be great fun to draw and sketch with, especially in the smaller, tighter spaces which are difficult to reach even with a finely sharpened, soft or hard pencil :)

Nice work, Simon! It can be surprising what you can create with just 1 minute, don't you think? Often it's very hard for me to get most of the figure down, I tend to leave quite a few flowing lines in the gesture

Figure drawing taken further

This is a recent digital figure drawing of mine, of a live model in one of the classes I attend. I decided to work on it a little more and add a storytelling dynamic to it. She's no longer sitting on a chair in the studio, but on a rock, out at sea. A potential painting/illustration here to come back to, and work on later 🎨
