“You can’t go pickup your child”
Yesterday, I spoke with a friend who told me about a young lady that had to put her two year old in after care because her boss wouldn’t let her off work early to pick her daughter up from school. Christelle’s school has a lot of activities for parents and kids. We’ve been up there four times this week - no exaggeration. But it’s a blessing that we’re able to do it. I oftentimes think that a lot of what people tout as the joys of entrepreneurship are overstated. You aren’t always able to just “focus on your zone of genius” Having a team has often meant more work for me not less. And all my soft days came on the back of very hard work. But…. One thing that’s not overstated is this; I’ll move heaven and earth to be at every one of her events and there’s no boss that can tell me otherwise. That’s a real perk. I think that sometimes people don’t grow their business because they don’t have a strong enough why. But imagine a world where you can really be there for your family without having to submit paperwork. Kids are young once - and I get that we might not be able to be there for every moment, but you can build a business that accommodates the life you aim to have. Do not make the mistake of failing to learn how to get more premium customers. Develop a system to learn this stuff and I want to teach you over three days in person in 36 days at The Expert Olympics. Shoutout to the parents doing what they HAVE to do now to do what they WANT to do later. They’re worth it. Join me: www.speakyourwaytocashlive.com

The "boss" doesn't realize without happy productive people there is nobody to boss around. How silly not to let a mom pick up her child. If this boss would just have enought compassion for his/her employee and be flexible, he/she would get a whole lot of productive work and loyalty from this mom. Family should always come before the "job."
