Small realisation while learning these concepts I initially assumed concepts like RAG and Vector Databases were hardcore AI/ML topics. Turns out, at a high level, they’re actually quite intuitive. • RAG → works like a knowledge base for an agent, giving it context from company docs, FAQs, or policies. • Vector Databases → store information as numerical representations so similar information can be retrieved efficiently. Understanding them conceptually made things feel far less intimidating. Sharing in case this helps another beginner.
