I want to share something with you, honestly and simply. Over the coming weeks you're going to notice a slight shift in how AVA is presented. The branding, the look, the way she shows up. I want to be clear about one thing first: who AVA is and what she does stays exactly the same. That doesn't change. The work is the work. What's changing is me... and most definitely SJ! The person who created AVA is slowly going to start showing her true colours in how all of this looks and feels. And here's the honest reason why. I've been on my own journey these last while, and I came to something I couldn't unsee. We're building in an online space where people have to really put themselves out there to be trusted. And you can't do that honestly until you've first been honest with yourself, and made sure that the version you're putting out there is the real one. For a long time, it wasn't fully me. It was a safer, more polished version. The one I thought I was supposed to present. The corporate SJ in her perfect office telling you where to go. Professional...checked. The real me is Grounded. Comfortable and Bold. So today marks the spot where that changes. Slowly, but truly, I'm going to start introducing the real Surina Joubert behind AVA. Not a reinvention.
