@Zina Zinchenko : Thank you for the affirmation. Thus far, I just seem to be shifting the achey places around!

Middle-of-the-night-thought: What if "pausing to notice" will bring to our conscious awareness stuff that, since childhood, we have been, collectively, "trained" to misinterpret, disregard and ignore?
REST VS STAGNATION
Real rest restores you. It gives you more capacity, clarity, energy, and access to choice. After real rest, you feel more connected to yourself. Stagnation feels different. Instead of feeling restored, you feel: Heavier Foggy Avoidant Disconnected More afraid of the next step This is where honesty matters. Sometimes you truly need rest. And sometimes the nervous system calls avoidance “rest” because growth feels unfamiliar. The comfort zone is not bad. The body needs familiarity, and familiarity can feel regulating. ‼️ But stay there too long, and the comfort that helped you recover can begin to shrink your range. 👉 The way back is not punishment. It is one SMALL, honest action. Try this: 1. Place one hand on your body. 2. Take one slow breath. 3. Ask: “What do I actually need?” 👇 HOW DO YOU FEEL TODAY?👇

@Zina Zinchenko : So, withhold anger, directed at my parents, for improper and likely rushed instruction? 🤪

@Zina Zinchenko : Thank you for sharing that wisdom, Zina. Much appreciated. My mother was left handed. Thus, I learned, by mIrroring her, to tie my shoe laces backwards! I was well into my life before I figured out why the laces kept constantly getting loose on hikes. 😂 I just completed Day 5, of Step 1. I think that, as they say in Sci-Fi movies, I'll be needing to "rerun program", considerably more than a few times, to fully grasp and engrain the teachings. "Engage . . ." Peace and Blessings.
Welcome to the community. Small steps. Big changes.
1. Introduce Yourself =) Tell us your name, where you’re from, and one thing your body has been trying to tell you lately. 2. Two Truths & One Lie – Body Edition Example: • I can touch my toes • I hold no tension in my jaw • I love cold showers. Guess which one is the lie. 3. Win of the Week! Did you sleep better? Stretch? Breathe? Walk more? Small wins count. Share one.

Intro continued, Body telling me: I'm old and things have changed, and continue to. Please be attentive. Two Truths and a Lie (in no particular order): I don't lie. Once upon a time, a young woman I was madly in love with wouldn't have anything to do with me because I was "famous" and could only want "one thing". I enjoy running.
