You've walked into a room feeling completely fine and left carrying something you couldn't quite explain. Someone was anxious, and suddenly you were on edge. Someone needed an answer, and suddenly you felt rushed. Someone was disappointed, and somehow it became yours to make things better. The feeling was real. But that doesn't necessarily mean it began with you. Sometimes self-awareness is simply recognizing the difference between what you're experiencing and what is actually yours.
