Ever had a dream, or a moment in life, so vivid and surreal you weren't sure you'd really woken up? The thought, follow the white rabbit, crosses your mind. Then a knock comes at the door, and you answer to find a stranger with a white rabbit tattoo. Do you follow the white rabbit to find out, or do you remain an NPC and stick to your programming? There is a technique that lucid dreamers use, which involves building a habit of doing reality checks during the day. For example, when checking a clock twice that reads erratic time jumps in a dream, it allows them to recognize if they are dreaming. But what is really tricky is how to tell if what you are perceiving is real when you are awake. Are you dreaming, experiencing a divinely orchestrated reality, or are you in a simulation?
