Definitely got to pull out the Sunday best for today! Love this shirt and tie combo. Bought separately but match beautifully. And it’s springtime so the cream suit is making its first appearance for the season. And topping it off with some accessories and Honor from Mission Fragrances. I know this has nothing to do with style. But my oldest daughter just sworn in the Marine Corps today!! She is fallowing her grandfather and my self! I’m so proud of her and excited to see her get earn the title of a Marine. Sounds like she ships off to bootcamp in September.

As we slide into the Veterans Day weekend, I wanted to give a special shout out to all my fellow Devil Dogs on their 250th USMC Birthday on 10 Nov. Also, a special thank you for your service to all our RMRS Veterans URAH!

Taking my oldest daughter (4) to Mayo for an eye surgery consultation. Apparently they are the closest around us that will do a pediatric eye surgery, but it's still a 5 hour drive from home. I don't want to make this heavy or dramatic, and I'm by no means seeking sympathy, but I would to ask to our praying men to send one up for my daughter. And her daddy. I'm really struggling with feelings of cynicism about the institution after a preliminary phone call, as well as worrying about the financial aspects that will follow. I'm self employed and don't have health benefits, and I have a moral obligation against health insurance. For the trip I am wearing a cotton poplin shirt, my self made bolo tie, olive chinos, custom belt buckle, and python boots. And my hat, of course. Thank you brothers 🙏
