It won’t allow me to join.
Just venting
The 1k sponge feels way more abrasive than the normal sandpaper. The Magic uv protectant scratches really easy👎. I can scratch it with my fingernails. Even with my fingertips😂 the meguiars coating does a little bit better against my finger nails.

@Andrew Tucker yea due to all wind it hard to use vapor. My goal is to always give the best work possible. I try to set myself apart from all the car detailing people. Now that being said I don’t have car dealerships. You need the cheaper way to keep them. I can’t see many of them paying 100.00 to clear headlights that they going to sell. Patch it and forget it is there mind set. I’m finding out this step three is some good stuff but must sand to 3000 and polish. Put it on the same way slow and even. I did three yesterday and they turned out great. Just hope they hold up I wish I knew how long it would last doing it this way
Question
Can I used liquid sandpaper to speed up the sanding and still use vapor?
Question
Why does the headlights if fix look different when the lights are on at night? You can see a lot of problems! With lights off they clear and look great

@Andrew Tucker I wonder do I need to wait a minute before I go back over it on the second pass with vapor. I’m going to keep trying different little ways to see if I can find out why. I do see it’s on cars that are not taking care off. Like I can see there car never seen wax so that means they never took care of it. Maybe that has something to do with it. If we all would turn the light on and take a look maybe between all of us we can find out what is happening.

@Andrew Tucker it’s ok. I knew you was moving and I understand. I think my problems may be the other coat that I put on it. I wipe the step 3 CERAKOTE on it also. I think I do it to fast and don’t let the vapor sit a few minutes. I’m only part time so I’m waiting to see the next one I do. Unless you know and can tell me if you wait when you if you put that on. I just wipe it on. I think I need to be careful cause that’s a coat also.
Hard light
This was the hardest light I had so far. I think I found one that has that 2000 on it or something. I will work on it again today. It’s a friend so as long as I can get this one sanded down enough the other light will wait a few days. It’s like some kind of hard clear flakes comes off. I even pulled my blade and scraped it. I’m not ready for the hard stuff I see lol. Once I get it sanded and cleared I will post a after
