Training is done for today!
The dojo/dojang, It’s always a place everything else seems to disappear. Regardless, if it’s for fitness, fellowship, intense learning, or just a getaway, the one or two hours spent on the mat seems to give many people a reset. What does it do for you? And your dojo can be a spare room, a garage, an actual gym that you go to. Where is yours?

At this point in my life it’s equal parts social interaction, stress relief, and exercise. The two places I go are a miles apart. The tkd class is in a recreational builing at a local park, and the bjj class is in a building that was a shotokan school for decades until it closed its doors.
