Posting after a Course
I seen in other communities a post by the creator and then people posting/replying to that post on each module. Just an idea. For example my biggest takeaway from this module: Eye contact to the camera lense. I struggle to look at the lense for sure.

@Frederick De Santiago thank you for sharing what you’ve learned! You probably aren’t used to looking at a dark lens and tend to get caught up with the technical details. That’s totally okay! Here’s a video that simplifies the whole filming process. Hopefully it helps! https://youtu.be/egYzeyqF1n8?si=Gha5cqKNp3FPW5Q6

@MaryBeth Ramsey Hi Mary Beth and welcome! I'm so happy that you're here and will support you with your journey of being comfortable with yourself on camera. I also never like being the center of attention, but destiny and the "call for adventure" requires us to show up so I'm doing my best to embrace this need.

@Frederick De Santiago It's already a miracle that you're here and present. The hardest part is over!
My First Ever Experience in Front of the Camera 😱
The first step towards real change and becoming who you’re meant to be is letting down your guard and being honest with yourself. Truth is, nobody starts off perfect. It takes a lot of courage to feel the fear and go through it anyway. It may feel intimidating to post your first video on here in front of strangers, but that’s exactly how YOUR GROWTH begins. Let me start by sharing the story of my first time in front of the camera. Included below is the first unedited raw 5 minutes of my experience. (By the way, I've never shared this video with anyone before so yeah... here we go!) The year was 2017. I was working as a producer for Tom Ferry, one of the best public speakers in the country. At that stage of my career, I was completely comfortable staying behind the camera. That was my zone. My identity. One day, I pitched a video idea to Tom. Minutes before recording, he looked at me and said, “Richard, you should be on this one.” My heart sank. Just the week before, his guest was Gary Vee. And now it was me. Someone who never once expected to be in front of a camera. You can probably imagine the pressure. In this video, you can see every ounce of my nerves. The stuttering. The blank moments. The way I kept losing my train of thought. It was uncomfortable. Painful, even. So what got me through? Honestly, I could not say no to Tom. Part of me was a people pleaser, sure, but the bigger shift came when he reminded me to focus on the audience and who we were helping. That simple reframe pulled me out of my own head. Instead of obsessing over how I looked or sounded, I started thinking about serving others. And that gave me just enough courage to push through. Looking back, that messy and nerve-wracking five minutes was a turning point in my life. If I had said no, I might still be hiding behind the camera today. But because I said yes, I discovered something new: courage grows when you serve others. That is why I am here now, on a mission to help people like you overcome the same fear. Because if I can do it, sweaty palms, shaky voice, and all, so can you.

Who else posting a video in here?! (my son is sleeping next to me so I’m also posting this so I’m held accountable and do this tomorrow when I log back into Skool and see some comments).

@Frederick De Santiago the community is fairly new and I'm still learning how to make it the best there is 😅so thank you for your patience, but all it takes is the first person, the first domino to fall and the rest should follow. Want to be the courageous first? 🏆
My Why
Figured I share my answers to the exercise in the first modules.

@Frederick De Santiago this is amazing! Thank you for sharing your answers, which were all very compelling. I could definitely relate with creating a "playbook" for my kids. You've made a HUGE STEP by already identifying your WHY, WHO you're trying to help and WHAT impact you want to make. I'm so happy for you! You're part of my WHY and just by simply being yourself, you also motivate me to keep going.
