Have you ever had Dehydrated Water? 🤷‍♂️
There is a lot of hype surrounding this product but does it actually work? Have you tried it?

...On 5 Element Theory & The Emotions ☯️
Here Adam Chan gives a quick rundown on the 5 Elements. Each element relates to a specific organ, specific emotions, and specific practices. Have you noticed any of these things in your own life? The problems or the solutions? Each of these hits home with me. ENJOY. 🙏

@Jake Hill I'm thinking you are correct about this and it makes sense. I've heard two different thoughts about this. One is that Standing should be practiced from the beginning. The other is, that moving Qigong should be practiced first to build up enternal strength (and probably Qi) to prepare for standing. After being away from Tai Chi for awhile and returning to practice, I've been running into this sort of thing a lot. In classes, I don't remember ever hearing the terms Kua or Song used. I was under the impression that in TCM that Qigong should be the first priority for restoring health with acupuncture, herbs, etc. supporting that practice. Specifically, I was thinking about the Six Healing Sounds practice. Which is connected to the organs that correspond to the elements. I may be comparing apples and oranges here. (TCM vs Martial arts). Again, I realize how much I don't know.

I spent about three years going to in person classes to learn Wu style Tai Chi. I think that my Teacher was a good teacher. He would go to the park to practice, people would stop and watch. He was eventually asked if he could/would teach them. That's how he started teaching. When I met him, He was teaching Kung Fu and Tai Chi. Most of the time, I went to classes once a week. For awhile, I would carpool with other students across town to attend a second class that he taught. As I said, though as I return to practice and learn what is out there, I keep learning how much I don't know. I had never heard of Adam Chan until seeing your posts. What little I've seen so far, I like him. I like what he has to share. I trust what he says.
Seated Tai Chi ☯️
If you've been on the internet lately (if you're here you probably have, lol)... You may have seen an ad or two (or 100 🤣) about "Seated Tai Chi". A lot of these ads make outlandish claims, and hopefully most people recognize that. But Seated Tai Chi is a legitimate practice that has a lot of value. Traditionally, There would be seated practices (think meditation on the floor), As well as standing/moving practices. Seated Tai Chi can be a middle ground between the two. For some, standing for prolonged periods may be difficult. For others, seated meditation can present its own challenges. Seated Tai Chi can offer benefits of both. If it speaks to you... Give this quick routine a go. 😎 I'll find some others as well. ENJOY. 🙏

Lol, I've practiced with a another video of his once. It was a standing practice. I really enjoyed it. I liked watching this video but, I kept thinking that it seemed more like a qigong practice. I recognize " owl turning it's head" from Qigong and "Tossing the moon" from the first set of Shibashi. I found it very interesting that he referred to Shibashi 18 as a "very traditional" form. Either way, I liked the practice and would consider giving it a try. Oigong or Tai Chi, practice is always good!

@Jake Hill that's really cool that he is one of your teachers.I really enjoyed the video that I practiced with. I've recognized the name but, never really knew anything about him. What little I've see and experienced. I've been very impressed with how well he leads classes.
