YouTube low-quality kids content anyone experienced this?
Hi everyone! need your opinion, insights , every opinion is welcome :) Long story short i have Greek children nursery rhymes and animated stories, and recently my channel was suspended from YPP for low-quality kids content (the latest ban wave for animation channels on YT). My appeal was rejected. I asked support what I need to improve, but they sent the general quality principles without identifying which category applies to my channel. I use AI tools for visuals, animation and music, with my own scripts, storyboards, creative direction and manual videoediting & DAW for the audio part. Has anyone here faced something similar and managed to understand what needed changing? If anyone has a few minutes, I would also appreciate honest feedback on this example. An example the Little Red Riding Hood classic story but in nursery rhyme style, lyrics are OC ( I wrote myself) and not a PD, the animation pacing with the lyrics, so the Greek language may make it harder to assess , I can provide an English translation if helpful. What, if anything, would you change to make the story clearer and more suitable for young children? I’m open to criticism and trying to understand what I may be missing. Each video took me around 40 hours, sometimes more, from lyrics, script and storyboard to production and post-production. Since begin of the channel, I have not deleted any of my videos, i kept them as a record of my progress, so I can look back see what worked and what didn’t, and improve the next one. Sorry for the long post <3 Thanks for you time! George

The quality looks very high to me - I can't understand why they have labelled it 'low-quality kids content'. I love the style.
**Is anyone here actually making money from AI animation?
I’d be really interested to hear from people who have been through 2DAnimation101 and are now using what they’ve learned to generate an income. A little background about me: I’ve been making my living as a freelance cartoonist and illustrator for over 43 years. I’ve worked with all sorts of clients over that time, but recently things have become noticeably quieter on the freelance front. I’m not entirely sure why. Is AI starting to reduce the amount of traditional illustration work available? Or, after 43+ years in the business, have I simply become a little too comfortable and stopped marketing myself as aggressively as I used to? 😄 Probably a bit of both! What interests me now is where the new opportunities are. I’ve been learning and experimenting with AI animation, and rather than seeing AI purely as competition, I’d like to explore ways of combining it with the skills and experience I already have. So I’d love to hear from anyone here who is actually earning money from AI animation: ● What kind of work are you producing? ● Who is paying for it? ● Are you working for clients, creating your own content, selling a service, or doing something completely different? ● Has 2DAnimation101 helped you turn what you’ve learned into paid work? ● And, perhaps most importantly, where do you think the real opportunities are right now? I’m not looking for “make $10,000 a month while you sleep” stories. 😂 I’m genuinely interested in what is working for real people. It would be great to hear some experiences from the community. Thanks in advance for your input! Richard

@Asma Omair Thanks Asma. That’s interesting, particularly the AI-based channels. Are you actually generating any income from those yet, and what sort of content are you creating? I’d be really interested to hear what’s working for you.

@Asma Omair Thanks Asma, there are certainly lots of possible avenues there. I’m particularly interested in what people here are actually doing successfully themselves, rather than just the possibilities. You mentioned that you’ve started AI-based channels — are any of those currently generating income for you? If so, which platform and what type of content has worked best?
Quick announcement: today we won't have our weekly call
I have been spending my nights at the hospital and I won't be able to join the weekly call today. My dad has been recovering really well so by next week everything should be back to normal and I'll be able to see you guys then Like this post to let me know you are aware of this change. I also removed the event from the weekly calendar for today’s call

I started writing a novel long ago and enjoyed it, but didn't finish it - yet-. Let's see what happens when it becomes a video. I started with this scene because I could figure out how to do it :)

That’s a great tip! @Timothy Masters
What do you think of this? New channel with 2.0M views
@Rina Waithera share this short with me. From some quick research with Gemini, apparently they are most likely using AI since they are producing videos Weekly (too fast if they where doing everything manually). Their channel has only - 6 videos And they already have: - 11.2K Subscribers - 2.0 Million total views - The first video was posted on February 2026 I found it super interesting and also very inspiring. Any guesses of why they are most likely getting such traction? Why this channel is getting so many views and why is the YouTube algorithm sharing it like crazy? ---------- (The answers are in the book YouTube Formula by Derral Eves, and I am happy to provide answers here)

If I'm looking for instructional videos on YouTube I do tend to pick the shortest first to get a solution to my problem!(I'm 71 years old!🤣)
