That was excellent. Excited that you mentioned making an oracle deck using your art. I have always thought I would lend well to that. And getting out of the cave to interact with others 😆 a piece of me cries out, “there’s art to be made!! And I want to finish this art to work on the other art!” putting more into mind that I will receive more inspiration by allowing myself to be in different environments and interacting with different people, and this will help accelerate my own work by giving myself that chance. Thank you both for talking about that

What’s your biggest barrier to daily drawing?

Lately, it is more waking up and immediately thinking about the painting and sculpting projects I have going on, and wanting to get to them. I have not devoted enough to making effort for a short drawing practice. Though I did finish this drawing yesterday and feel good with how it came out. Still, short 30 minute practices on a daily basis (or mostly daily) would be good for me. I also want to start teaching basics to kids and adults in my area, and a daily drawing practice would help me with developing how I wish to share with others.

@Alex Ruiz appreciate you thinking so. I continue implementing that emphasis I learned from you on paying attention to the values to give the pieces more depth and dimension.

🎃 Inktober isn’t just about drawing… it’s about rewiring your brain.
Hey Infinite Artists! October is almost here, and I hope you’re feeling the creative buzz?? I know I am 👻⚡⚡⚡ Yes, we’ll be sketching spooky prompts every single day together on Zoom for just 20 minutes (and don’t worry—if you can’t make it live, the replays will be posted)… but at the heart of this challenge, it’s about something much bigger than just drawings. It’s about CONSISTENCY.....proving to your brain that you can show up every single day, even for 20 minutes, and create something. Even if it's just stick figures! LOL Neuroscience reveals that tiny, repeated actions can literally rewire your brain through neuroplasticity. ( check out the 'Your Brain on Art' PDF attached for more info!) You’re carving new pathways for focus, resilience, and flow. And when you anchor in ONE daily habit (drawing), it becomes a launchpad for others. That’s where habit stacking comes in. 💡Imagine this: before or after your daily drawing, you tack on another practice—meditation, journaling, reading, movement. Just 20 minutes. Now, instead of one habit, you’ve built TWO! And here’s the magic: once you’re consistent with two daily practices, you gain momentum that spills into every other area of your life. Energy, confidence, clarity—it all multiplies. So we’re not just gonna fill sketchbooks. We’ll build a rhythm of creativity and discipline that can transform everything. And we're doing it together;) Are you in? Drop a 🎃 if you’re ready to make October the month you rewired your creative brain forever 🧠 ♾️ ♾️ ♾️

Unraveling Creative Blocks
This is an interesting video of a coach I follow helping someone get to the source of their creative block ( a very common theme with artists;) Hopefully there’s some insight for you guys, let me know what you think! https://youtu.be/nH0tWr9b1JY?si=NW9p-fNvbDA01-hr

That was a really awesome way to help her see how moving through life is a form of art. And there isn’t ever a time she isn’t making art in some way. Thank you for sharing

Allowing art to flow through me and continuing to learn the art of aware living. Everything can become an art form, as we are all born artists
