A big part of making art is DESCRIBING things on the mental, written level. Define IN WRITING what your sign wants, or fears, or protects....( or ALL 3!) Remember, this is getting into the 'psyche' of the sign, this is a NEW ENTITY that has evolved to help you in 'REAL LIFE.' For example, my dragon-wolf and his fish friends are ALL ABOUT PLAY & EXPLORATION! They fear NOTHING! ( except the fear of not having a good time LOL) And so, they 'protect their PLAY'! Because personally, I've lost that sense of play for a while now. So THEY embody this, to remind me to PLAY more. What is your NEW SIGN asking of you? WRITE THAT OUT.
