The Digestive System — Assimilation, Trust, and Processing Life
Energetically, the digestive system represents how we take in life, break it down, and decide what becomes part of us. Beyond its physical role, it mirrors our ability to trust the process of living-to receive experiences, interpret them, extract meaning, and release what no longer serves our growth. When life feels rushed, overwhelming, or unsafe, the digestive energy often responds by tightening, slowing, or becoming unsettled. This can reflect difficulty “stomaching” certain situations, overanalyzing experiences, or holding onto emotions that were never given space to move through. Energetic stagnation in digestion may arise not from failure, but from the body’s protective adaptation to stress, uncertainty, or emotional overload. Healthy digestive energy flows with rhythm and patience. It does not force assimilation; it allows experiences to be processed in layers and in time. When supported, the digestive system becomes a place of discernment-knowing what to take in, what to transform, and what to gently release-reinforcing trust in both the body’s wisdom and life’s unfolding. Naturopathic Support Energetic digestive support begins with gentleness and respect for the body’s pace. The goal is not stimulation, but cooperation. Gentle, nutrient-dense foods Simple, nourishing foods provide grounding without demanding excess energy for digestion. Warm, well-prepared meals can signal safety to the nervous system, allowing digestive energy to soften and flow rather than brace or resist. Hydration for energetic flow Adequate hydration supports physical digestion while also symbolizing movement and emotional circulation. Fluids help prevent stagnation, encouraging the natural flow of energy through the digestive organs and supporting release rather than retention. Mindful eating practices Slowing down while eating allows the body to fully receive nourishment. Eating without distraction, chewing thoroughly, and pausing between bites communicates to the digestive system that there is no urgency-that it is safe to process at its own pace.

Law of Sunshine & Outdoors
This week we’re focusing on Sunshine and Fresh Air. The sun is not our enemy—it’s actually our life source. Without it, plants wouldn’t grow, our bodies wouldn’t produce Vitamin D, and our mental health would suffer. When we pair sunshine with time outdoors and fresh air, the results are life-giving. This week we’ll explore just how essential God’s natural light and breath of air are to our health and healing. Share with us how you’re getting outside this week, let’s inspire one another to embrace God’s light and fresh air!

I plan to start back walking to get in some sunshine and exercise.
Making Memories
I've been busy these last few days! Made colloidal silver for a few clients✅ Took another final and passed(two classes to go to complete my ND program!)🙏✅✅ Have been busy sewing costumes for these boys of mine✅ Here mom life and professional life blend together! I wear many hats simultaneously. Wouldn't trade any of this for anything else, though! How about you, how do you balance all the roles in your life?

Wow! You are wearing many hats. For me, I don't have many roles, so it's not that difficult to balance the roles in my life as a single person with no children.
Circadian rhythm reset
Taking a walk outside—especially in the morning or early afternoon—helps synchronize your body’s circadian rhythm, the internal clock that regulates sleep, energy, and hormone balance. Natural sunlight signals the brain to reduce melatonin production and boost alertness, setting the tone for improved focus and mood throughout the day. Exposure to fresh air and natural light also supports nighttime rest, as your body later responds by releasing melatonin when the sun sets. In this way, a simple daily walk outdoors becomes a powerful tool for restoring balance and aligning the body with its natural rhythms Even a short walk of 20 to 30 minutes outside each day can meaningfully support your circadian rhythm. Ideally, this should be done in natural morning light within the first few hours after waking, when sunlight has the greatest impact on resetting your body’s internal clock. For deeper benefits—like improved mood, hormone balance, and immune support—aim for 45 to 60 minutes outdoors most days. The key isn’t intensity, but consistent exposure to natural light and movement in fresh air.

I had a friend that would take walks in the morning. She would say that was the time she would use to enjoy nature and speak with the Heavenly Father. I used to walk in the morning with a friend that I previously served in the military with; but since she has been busy with her family we have stopped. I need to get back to walking even if it is by myself. Thank you for sharing this beneficial information.
