Good morning everyone! I’m actually sick today and my voice is almost completely gone. 😭 It all started with a simple sore throat but now it’s getting worse :( I’m trying to rest, so instead of recording my video today, I decided to write my script and share it with you. Today’s topic: Talk about someone famous you admire. The person I chose is Charlie Kirk. Charlie Kirk is someone I admire because of his strength, resilience, and persistence. Whether you agreed with him or not, there is no denying that he dedicated his life to communicating ideas, educating young people, and encouraging them to think, question, and get involved. He started Turning Point USA in 2012, when he was only 18 years old, and built it into a massive youth movement. What inspires me most is the fact that he never seemed afraid to speak to people who disagreed with him. He constantly put himself out there, had difficult conversations, faced criticism, and kept going. Today marks one year since his death, which makes today’s topic feel especially meaningful to me. I admire his ability to keep showing up, keep learning, keep speaking, and keep trying to reach people who may never have been exposed to those ideas before.
