My Vision Is Getting an Upgrade - Literally!
I’ll be away all next week for some eye surgery. While I’m recuperating, I’ll also be working on some exciting new ways to help you Get Your Merch Made—including a cool surprise coming in September. But first, I want to know what would be most useful to you: Take the poll and let me know which would help you most right now? Drop a comment about what are you currently working on for your community, clients, or members—and what would help you turn it into something that builds engagement, strengthens your brand, and generates revenue?

Start Building a Brand People Remember
I’ve been thinking about a piece of marketing advice from Gary Vee that shaped the entire social media era: Go where attention is underpriced. Gary was right. The brands that moved quickly, posted consistently, and understood new platforms early had an enormous advantage. But we are no longer operating in that version of the internet. AI has made it possible for you to produce more content than anyone could possibly consume. Yet being visible still doesn't guarantee you will be remembered. It's not an argument against content, and it is definitely not a “Gary Vee was wrong” takedown. It's about what has changed—and what your brand needs to do once attention alone is no longer enough. I made a video about this because your post may get seen today, but the real value begins when someone still remembers you three months from now. And, I also wrote a piece: Start Building A Brand People Remember -- it's where I share more thoughts on this subject on how to stand out in a crowded market. What are your thoughts?

YOUR BRAND ON THE TIP OF THEIR TONGUES...
Want to see your brand on cool products? Here is one of my favorite products: Motivational Mints. What I love about these is that you can also print your logo on the mints themselves! Today I am featuring @Jennifer Silbert who runs Good Girl Gone Bold and she's running a very cool summer camp on Skool. Go check it out! Want to see your brand? Pop your comments in the chat!

You have a body of work — a method, a framework, a set of questions or principles you've built your business on. Now imagine handing your clients a small deck of cards built from that work. The instinct is to try to fit everything on the cards. Don't. (That's the shortcut most people miss.) You're not compressing your entire body of work onto cards... you're picking the moments your framework needs to show up in someone's day — and building one card per moment. For a brand consultant, it's not the whole positioning framework. It might be the one filter the marketing team runs every campaign brief through, plus the three core principles that decide whether copy sounds like the brand. That's a deck. For a coach, it's not your entire methodology. It's the 12 prompts you know clients need between calls — one for the week they're avoiding a hard conversation, one for the week they're stuck on pricing, one for the week they're doubting themselves. Each card meets a real moment. For a keynote speaker, it's not the full talk. It's the six ideas the audience quotes back most, each on its own card, plus the signature questions you want them sitting with on the flight home... and in the months to follow. The deck becomes the takeaway that outlasts the room. The key here is the deck isn't a compressed version of everything you teach. It's a curated set of moments where the idea needs to be present — and one card per moment. That's the shift. If you're sitting with a framework and trying to figure out which pieces belong on the cards, tell me what you keep teaching, and I'll help you find the 54 moments worth building.
